So I have removed some accessories, pumped-up the tyres to the same pressure [emoji12] and done some unscientific comp with my fat a$$ scale:
* Ducati MIG-S - front 11kg - rear 13kg
* Ducati TK01-RR - frt 12kg - rear 14kg
PS. MIG is tubeless with worn tyres, TK01 still has tubes and brand new...
Finally my new TK01-RR has landed. Now is the hard part, letting go of the trusted MIG-S.
Anyway, I will post my observations as I get to know the gen II bike, however I wanted to share with you, my first impression as I assembled it this evening.
The Ducati gen II (made by THOK) is a well...
How tall are you? I am 183cm eMTB neophyte and I prefer a mullet 29”—27.5”, to my 29”—29” hard-tail.
Big front wheel rolls easily over large obstacles, smaller rear feels like it has a bit more torque. When climbing steep hills I have to watch-out for unintentional wheelies. However, going...
I have done 151km or 93mi and 1196m or 3900ft on E8000/500Wh, in Eco-low (20% assist, 30Nm)
So, I am convinced that I can do more with more efficient/lighter/more powerful/higher capacity EP8/630Wh. I will let you know once I have tested it.
However, having done E8000 test, I have to admit that...
@etoni , can one hire eMTB in Zermatt, or should I lug one for holiday?
I used to go to Zermatt to ski, I damaged my knees on the slopes, so ski is off limit for me, but eMTB is a fantastic alternative!
Finally I killed the battery, it took me 5 rides:
Ride #1 - 49km - battery state 76%
Ride #2 - 21km - battery 55%
Ride #3 - 25km - battery 43%
Ride #4 - 24km - battery 36%
Ride #5 - 32km - battery 9%
That is 151 km on one charge, however, riding on Low setting of the Eco mode. That is 20%...
