Well you could put the 29s on your old bike for a quick comparison on one of your familiar rides to see how much difference it makes. Jaysas it's good to get some of this feedback.
Nice vid. Now the burning question, your old mate on your old bike when did he run out of juice? Perfect time to compare the improvement or has Specialized got a gag on you;-))
I agree, surely it can't be too difficult to reverse engineer all the features (ie shuttle mode) to work with older models? Remember in 2016/7 when race mode was deleted to reduce motor load (and save a bucket load of warranty claims!) so it can be done if there is motivation.
I will lose all my old date when I update and privacy in that it doesn't transmit all my date to you guys.
"we are not partnered with the company that built it any longer" now this really needs some clarification, in all the promo and blurb about Specialized bikes it gives the impression that...
Do it if you have one too, spare battery never goes astray;-)) Depending on her weight and style of riding you will probably be able to pick up some cheap forks off the 2019 Levo as a few people on here discuss the buying the base model and immediate upgrade.
If you are getting numb hands it is worth looking at your gloves as well. Posted elsewhere but I bought some gell padded, fingerless weight lifting gloves, best gloves ever and I have tried a few. Apart from being cheap as chip they have an extra strong Velcro wrist band that really gives good...
Specialized, what is the situation if we want to continue with the old app, will it still work but not get any updates or will it cease to function altogether in November/December?
I have to say now I have had a look at the specs on the 900 that looks like a sweet ride so we wait and see on your feedback after riding both. Have a look at JTs to see what they have lying around if you do go with the Specialized.
But will Specialized know? Especially if it is changed back before you take the bike to the shop for whatever reason? Surely setting the limit to 32Kph the same as USA should not effect the life of the motor/battery ect as I assume they must test it at this speed for US riders?
I haven't lived in Adelaide for 15 years but I would try and stretch to the Specialized. It looks like Australia is not getting the Comp in aluminum from the Spec website. A quick look through a couple of bike sites there, bike society is offering 500 voucher for 2019 preorders which would cover...
Rob Hancill, over the next few months a lot of us Levo lovers are going to try and go through this equation, before you sell your other bike can you do a side by side comparison (mostly on distance, someone the same weight) between 2018 and 2019? 2019 was a jump but maybe a 2018 is a better...
This is the next big battle ground here, the Swiss love walking and with E-bikes access a lot more shared tracks. I am extra cautious and polite here as a lot of people don't hear you coming. It doesn't take much for all of us to get a bad reputation if there are a few incidents. So say g'day...
I bought a 2018 a months ago so would recoup a reasonable price if I upgrade now but I think the 700wh battery will trickle down to the lower models next year so I will wait. Maybe place a wanted add on here and you might get lucky with some thing semi local. With all forums there are a lot of...
So I contacted a what I thought was a freight forwarding company, to pack and document (Switzerland to Australia) Chf159 plus the actual cost of freight which they don't do!
So I can't see us flying our bikes any time soon.
