    headphones.. (inear) when riding mt

Wait, so blasting music in nature and forcing others to hear it is ... "conservative?" Seriously? Did you literally say that being cognizant and respectful of others is "liberal?"

    headphones.. (inear) when riding mt

I use stronger language. It’s amazing some people can be so selfish.

Did you change anything after fitting shorter cranks?

I am not skilled enough to notice a 10 mm change. I am impressed by all of you who are.

    headphones.. (inear) when riding mt

I use the AirPod Pro 2 also but run them in noise canceling mode the majority of the time. Or actually, they are in that new automatic mode so when my riding partners pull up and start talking to me, they automatically go into transparency. The earlier AirPods had wind noise, but the pro 2 never...

    Power stations

The only way to speed it up is to get a charger with a higher capacity. The most effective way to charge is a DC to DC charger, like EVs use. But that's a bit rare with bike batteries (common with remote control vehicle batteries). The charge time won't change significantly by the source type...

    Mous or Quadlock???

That makes my riding buddy insane. So it encourages me to add even more. As I always say, who will you be turning to at that moment when you realize you really need a duck, right now?

    Let’s talk crank arm lengths…

I'm completely happy with my change to 155.

Pedalling e-bike when motor turned off

This is why I disabled the limiter on mine.

Pedalling e-bike when motor turned off

I have a hub motor bike that weighs 110 pounds and a mid drive that weighs 52. It’s easier to pedal the hub bike without the motor.

    Whats the most reliable ebike??

It's a great motor, and I have no fears of failure. That also seems expensive to ship from EU to USA?

    Whats the most reliable ebike??

My hub motor is dead, the Shimano is working perfectly.

    Whats the most reliable ebike??

I've got a dead one right now. Let the magic smoke out. I really should do something with that bike.

    Whats the most reliable ebike??

Everyone agrees it would be a Shimano motor.

[POLL] Hanging an eMTB by it's dropper post in a workshop stand?

I'm glad I didn't read this before, since I clamp whatever on the bike however I fucking feel like it at that time, and since I was unaware that it could damage anything, it hasn't.

I struggle to justify the price of EMTBs when this cost less….

My KTM 390 Adventure cost less than my Intense Tazer MX Pro, and so what? They both cost less than our Tesla. And more than ... whatever else, irrelevant. For those fear-mongering about motorcycles, there's someone just like you who thinks mountain biking is just as stupid. You should stay...

    Strava's secret price rises

Depends on which English. Here in the US, you'd never sensor "bugger" since it's nearly meaningless. But those British b**gers....

    Strava's secret price rises

I don't think this is a paid/free problem, but just some intrinsic problem in how Strava and my devices are working... About 20% of rides have a glaring error in the data. I typically start a ride on my Apple Watch, and then import afterward into Strava. On my most recent ride, it says I did...

How often do you service your suspension?

I haven’t owned a bike long enough to deal with it. The current bike will stick around, so I’m guessing around 500 hours or so.

What grips and saddle do you run?

I rarely say it, because I am constantly chasing dragons. But for the first time on motorcycles and bicycles, I am no longer considering other grip options. I hope they make some for motorcycles soon.

What grips and saddle do you run?

I run the large Rev Grips, and LOVE them. I'm unlikely to ever use anything else.
