Other than the display, I’m far happier with the power delivery and noise of the Shimano vs Bosch, side by side. The Kiox display is glorious. The rider integration of the shimano smokes it though.
All of my purchases have been based on spec sheets and on various end user (not pro) reviews. Pros are the opposite of who I’d listen to. And ads can’t reach me, I run multiple ad blockers. I’m not a pro, so pro users are actually a slight negative to me.
My dirt motorcycle and MTB have plastic guards. I greatly prefer it, and despite many bashes, have not needed replacement. Zero chance that a stone would cause damage.
Absolutely. You should have to expend the LEAST effort in all of this, and get everything back. They should be bending over backwards on their multiple mistakes. Don't apologize, you have already lost massive time even if you get all the dollars back.
Oh, that's weird. I know MC is a big Canada thing. Here, you really can't contact Visa/MC at all.
My experience in the past has been that you just compile all the emails and files that you have, and add a narrative to explain it.
Curiosity question: In Canada do you report this to MC itself? Or did you mean your card issuer/bank? Here we handle it via whoever issues the card, whether Visa or MC. IE, you talk to Chase for a Visa they issued and fund.
Right but they said that the import fees are not their problem, so...
This is important, and it varies by motor and the programming. I've read a lot of claims that my Shimano likes to run at higher cadence and will make more power. My seat of the pants experience agrees. There's also the programming of power curves that you can do on most motors.
Your definition of "full" and mine are different. Like I said, the buyer should be made whole. Cards in the US generally presume the shipper to be an agent of the seller, and the transaction is complete when the buyer gets a whole product. The FOB principle is used in business, but I see no...
My bike came with a significant bash plate, and I've certainly used it. I ride in rocky terrain. The actual measured clearance on my Intense Tazer MX Pro is 10.5" and the wife's Fantic 1.5 is about 11.7. Both chainrings are just a tiny bit higher. I wonder if manufacturers state this number...
The motor part of the equation is interesting. Car electric motors don't have variable gearing (outside of a couple of oddballs) because it's generally viewed as not mattering. Would it matter on an e-bike? It certainly matters for your human energy which is more like a gas engine; having a...
For anyone who wants the short version of Canyon's answer, it was this: "Get fucked!"
I don't know about Canada laws, but in the US this is well covered by things like the warranty of merchantability. Basically the assumption that product purchased must do what it's intended or promised to...
We're already seeing this here, locally, for both new and used. Same as car prices and inventory, another crashing market. People overpaid and over-bought for the last couple years, creating a big bubble market. Now people either already have what they need, or can't afford it as...
Comparisons on the new display? The only thing I like about my EP8-powered bike is the very meager display. I would really like to see 10 bars of battery or a number, and I'd like to see cadence and speed at the same time.
At a couple hundred miles, my EP8 still doesn't have a rattle, I...
LOL, I should be clear that they claim the stabilization is unbreakable, not the camera. It touched down, suffered only a scuff and still works fine.
Oh, and my knee guards had pretty much zero damage on them. Some reviews commented that they were easily ripped in crashes. But when I got...
