Your post is very accurate except for the retooling bit. However, when they did it, they reduced the weld counts and piece count on the car by some insanely huge number, which then reduced the cost. They are constantly changing the entire process which costs money, but then saves far more...
Oh, I forgot to give some hard numbers. I'll use my neighbor's numbers because he consistently drives the same routes almost every day, I vary a lot. He does 15k miles per year. He was spending $400-500/mo on gas. He spends $20-22 on electricity. He was doing two oil changes a year, that's...
I drive to visit my brother 400 miles away regularly. That's Phoenix to Los Angeles. There are multiple chargers on the way, and they are very fast. Unless I'm towing the trailer, the stop is around 12-15 minutes. By the time I've taken a leak, bought a drink and food, the usual, the charge...
I've put 30-some thousand miles on ours, and it seems like half the neighborhood has one. The cost savings is insane, first off, to where the car is nearly free. Meaning, the savings are nearly what a car payment would be. Never having to stop at a gas station, and always leaving "full" is...
You mean how is a Tesla that cheap?
My bike which is fairly high end cost $7200 US. We also have a Tesla 3 LR which cost $45k. So that’s over 6 times more. I also have a $6k motorcycle and a $22k motorcycle. How is that even possible? And when I was a kid, I had a $20 bike. Crazy.
I’ve never had one fail. I have this on my compressor:
I have the Jaco above in the first reply. And I keep the digital Topeak on the bike.
WTF, I can't get an amazon link to post. The forum converts it to a media link and destroys it.
Pretty sure you should NOT do a full stop during bedding, as that could cause pad material transfer. I get to speed and brake to 3-5 MPH a few times with moderate pressure. Then repeat with high, but not lockup pressure.
They were stock on my main bike, and I love them. I agree they are noisy, which is great. It’s a warning for hikers with headphones in the middle of the trail. I disagree with all the negatives above. Not my experience at all.
They last forever if you get it done right. But super easy to damage while installing. Also zero stretch. I thought I could put a 2.5 in a 2.6 tire. It exploded inside the tire.
Galfer or EBC metallics. Always more grip, better feel, better consistency in rain, but they might have a little squeak. Which is useful to warn hikers.
The entire internet is completely unusable without an ad blocker. I see no ads, here or anywhere. When I have to use a computer without a blocker, I think I would go Amish if there weren't ad blockers.
...??? Why would anyone TRY to listen to music? How would you remember it...ever? I'm perplexed, and amused by how different human minds work. I mostly play something with a beat and it keeps time for me in a way, and makes me more focused on the ride. Of course I don't remember the...
Now back to the thread, the wife says she greatly prefers her Beats in-ears which sit fully in the ear, because for her ear type, the AirPods tend to loosen up. She says no amount of shaking will loosen the Beats.
