I would just take my bike and battery to LBS and say that "Product is faulty, could you please have look at it" in case that my battery would fall out and be badly damaged even though I would have done the Trek battery adjustment procedure.
With these prices I would expect that the battery...
It's somewhat stupid to first buy 5000 euros electric assisted bike that illogically stops assisting in the middle of forest during your most climax moment. I can almost see big EU logos in my mind when hitting the 25kmh assistance limit (yeah it's not speed limit..).
I have zero problems...
I think you should not have to put any straps to attach your Trek Rail battery. The movement in the video seems totally normal or at least my bike has the same play.
I once had creaking sounds from the bike during couple of kilometres when I took the motor off the bike and installed it back.
Let me rephrase myself: Has anyone ever bought one and what were the experiences?
Don't get me wrong: I'm not saying here that one necessarily needs such a tool, I'm more interested on how well they work/don't work - what are the pros and cons.
Any experiences/thoughts/comments on spoke tension meters?
I know that some people with golden ears can hear the correct sound but I'm interested in more practical way of measuring at least the correct relative tension.
Quick look from internet:
PARK TOOL TM-1 spoke tension meter 94 EUR...
The cushcore material is so soft that somehow it sounds impossible that it could overcame the force that air pressure presses tire beading to the rim.
In theory I can only think that when running relatively low tire pressure and making very sharp turns while riding the cushcore could somehow...
Just installed new tires for DT Swiss wheels with Cushcores. The "goop" or the sealant shouldn't have any task to seal the rim. The rimtape is the one that's sealing the rim I guess?
Just thinking: As the tire spins when riding, the radial accelerations pushes sealant to the outer perimeter(?)...
What you have done is just pure stupidity.
It's different to ride passively with wrong activity for own purposes but to actively and public using wrong category to mess with some ranking doesn't make sense. If you have problem on someone trying to achieve something on some random internet based...
Why not just change the activity publicity to "Followers"?
Only your followers will be able to see your activity details. Your activities will not appear on segment or challenge leaderboards, and may not count toward some challenge goals. Members who do not follow you may be able to view your...
I can openly reveal that I don't have any clue what my tires weight. Maybe I feel that I'm not yet on that level - I don't know actually.
Only concern or goal with this midlifeupgrade was to ensure that wheels keep spinning the whole season. Last summer there was too much "everything" with the...
New parts for the 2021 ridingseason.
X01 chain
GX derailleur
NX cassette
Set of Minions
Knog Oi bell
Old transmission parts willl be saved as reserve parts if the whole world closes and things start to fall apart.
That's interesting theory but I think they are so far away that it would have to be very strong field? I'm not specialist on this matter, just thinking aloud. Such a magnetic field could cause errors to also to rear wheel speed sensor and then we would have ERROR 503.
I just bought new...
I'm not sure but I have a feeling that such an intelligent charger would extend my battery's lifetime to such numbers that it exceeds the lifetime of my sweet Rail 5 frame and components...and my interest to the bike.
I'm not also sure what problem this intelligent charger is really solving...
Your battery doesn't have the extension part so therefore it will be impossible to fit bigger battery without very heavily modifying the frame (read: it's not possbile.)
If your 500wh battery has plastic extension then it's possible to change to 625wh = The current lenght is the same as 625wh only.
Take a picture of your battery
