    Pic of the Day

A couple from our 'Send it for Santa' ride out last weekend. I thought there might be a few different outfit options but with numbers limited to 6 it looks like I'm the odd one out as a festively plump Rudolf ? Riding with a suit constantly getting caught on/behind the saddle was interesting!

    Kiox buttons jammed up. ?

It's arrived! Looks fairly well made, it's flexible and seems quite secure on the display. Buttons are a bit harder to press but it's only the power button so not really an issue. Worth £20? Well no but if it stops the kiox from playing up again it's got to be worth it

I Backed Out of New E-MTB Purchase

These are all valid concerns. You really need to be 100% sure before dropping so much money on a bike. Most of my riding is shuttling up fireroads and dropping back down descents and repeat. I get so much more riding in on an ebike that it makes sense (to me atleast). It's much heavier than my...

    Kiox buttons jammed up. ?

That's what I've gone for. Looks expensive for what it is but if it keeps me riding I don't mind too much. I'll report back when it arrives!

    Kiox buttons jammed up. ?

I've given it a good clean out with an old toothbrush for 30 mins and it's all working again, thanks! ? I have the stem cap mount and there is a screw going through the magnet holding the kiox in place, not sure you have that with the top tube mount? Water ingress was just what I thought...

    Kiox buttons jammed up. ?

Great. I'll have a go now - Was planning on going through warranty tomorrow... Have you seen the screen covers you can get on Amazon? Tempted, I've already had a kiox display and handlebar controller fail possibly through water getting in.

    Kiox buttons jammed up. ?

Mine did exactly the same yesterday. Buttons solid and unresponsive after a muddy/gritty ride. Are they working again now you've cleaned it out?

Levo Gen 2 Anyone know how to stop muddy stuff collecting here

That mudguard isn't helping, it's just filling the space with mud, then pushes it all out to the side as it hits the chainstay. I'd just get rid and embrace the muddy backside :poop:

    ebike - how waterproof?

I've had a kiox display and handlebar control both fail from what was possibly water ingress. Keep the hose away from these if you can.

    27-1/2" vs. 29" wheels?

Mullet = Business at the front, party at the back! ? 29" for grip and speed, 27.5" for a more playful feel

"Bumblebee" Mondraker Crafty Carbon XR 2021

Nah, I don't think thewrx has a clue what he's on about to be honest. I have a similar shock placement on my Mondraker level and my DH rig and both handle the rough stuff beautifully (y)

    Things I wish I hadn’t done....

I always liked to have my tyre logo's lining up with my valves on the bike. So I put my tyre on and its not quite lined up, but thought it's fine, I'll just slide the tyre along the rim. Grabbed the wheel/rim with one hand and gave the tyre a good yank to move it, it slid but then caught all of...
