    Corrected: I had everything but the 36mm crow foot to go on the Park BBT-18 (it's on order), so I used about 2 US gallons of water pulling down on a wrench 1 foot from the spindle :)

    I wasn't checking it; it came loose on the second ride. Now come the tools, safety wire and the fix.

    While installing the seat, pedals, etc., for my first ride, I checked the crank arm bolts - good thing, they needed to be torqued. I've been using Squirt lube for years. Until my order for their E-Bike lube arrives, I'll apply it more often.

    Hello from (not) the West Coast of the US!

    I'm situated 100 miles inland, just west of Yosemite National Park. I'm picking up a 2021 Trek Rail 7 tomorrow. Being an aging MTBer, I'm looking forward to longer rides.
