So I got my bike back last week, other than another new motor (3rd one), nothing else new. We will see how it goes . . . but after so many issues and 3 motors my faith isn't high.
Another just came back with new brakes .... and I'm waiting on mine returning on Monday .... wonder what to expect? Definitely another new motor. Only the third motor with only 4 months if riding out of a possible 12. I hope it's a new bike!
To be fair . . . the fella started a conversation that got us to this point. That is kinda the point of a forum . . . anyway, well done to you all for your investigative work. :)
I am really keen to try one . . . I might have even recommended it to my boss to look at. Well . . . at least that...
Make sure the bike shop that you take it to is a Shimano Service Centre.
To give you some hope ... I am pretty sure the Shimano motor is good but the issue may well be in the bike build and cable routing. That's not to say you can't get a fault with the motor but after a spell to my local...
Bike / Product Year: 2019

The bike is a "Medium" size, and has a reach of 455mm.
Bike was Invisiframed since day one and in great condition.

I did.
It was initially out of necessity as I had a tear in my from tyre, so I put my Spesh Enduro front wheel so I could get out.
It worked. It worked REALLY well. In fact I started looking to but a 29" front wheel for the Vitus.
Ignoring geometry, technical advice, it just worked. If you...
Hi,
I'm looking to see if there is any way of seeing and adjusting the settings of each mode of the new Bosch motor?
I've moved from a Shimano to the Bosch and whilst I notice the significant difference between the two when you hit 25kmph.... I also noticed that Turbo on the Bosch is less...
I can say from my experience of the new Bosch motor..... you won't need to de-restrict it as the new motor completely disengages and there is no noticable drag and rides like a normal bike.
If you still want power after 25kmph ... then as always there will be a way.
Just in from Invisiframe . . .
