Done and tested... it's deffo quieter than the earlier motor...(which was quiet anyway).
Brakes are not as bad as you'd expect, but lack of adjustability and reach means i'll likely swap still.
Yeah i'm slightly torn on the lever at the moment. That one above is a cheapy one i bought for a different bike half a lifetime ago, but it'd do the job. But yes absolutely there are nicer ones out there, there's the hope, but i think they're direct mount and would need a band setup, Wolftooth i...
Ok, well not too terrible a solution really. Just needs a different dropper lever which increases clearance to the bars/controls.

I've got a set of Code RSCs and Codes i can fit, but i wasn't planning on rerouting a set of brakes right now.
I'd really rather come up with something better here.. But struggling to work out what 'better' actually is.
The brake location is set on Shimanos be a de-limiting tab/bracket, so is set about correct for orientation from the grip. They've done that for the last 5 years.

Gents,
Just got my new Rise today, it's got a completely different bar/computer setup to the old one and i can't work out where the Dropper Lever should actually be.

Installed the new Rise linkage today, all parts are completely different, the yoke is swapped and mounts totally differently to the previous one, the tensioner is different and even the bolts to the...
I can resolve the creaking... just not forever :D
Creak creak, strip-down the suspension/linkages/etc re-torque the little tool, bit of grease on the spacers and bolt heads, put back together, silence. Ride, ride, ..... creak..... repeat. At the end of the day it's a 15 minute job tops.... so...
I've got my 2nd Rise on it's way from MTBMonster when the courier gets their act together. My 15 year old is getting the current H15 to play on.
They're remarkably good.

Oh, interesting.. it DOES seem to come with the EP6..
Can anyone tell me the differences ? Or more importantly if the EP6 is an 'avoid' type motor ?
I know a lot of people are Shimano haters in the motor, so try and keep that side out of it, it's more a EP6 comparison with the EP8RS i'd like...

Well kinda, but now we've got 2.
The lad has been using ours a fair bit to maximise laps and ride time, so we've got the wife's Liv Embolden e+ for sale next week which will fund some of it.
It seems I get this one and the...

The boy hates it when I do these as apparently he looks rubbish on the ebike. But we had a couple of hours spare and he can just smash lap after lap.
