    Shimano E8000 derestricting options

Leaving aside the fact that we're not on each other's Christmas card lists (I'm ok with it, assuming you are, no doubt you'll tell me if not), I'm interested to know if you have had the same issue in lower gears Kernow had before he put a 36t ring on? Also did you order the light activated version?

    Hope hoops ?

I'd just be looking at DT Swiss from higher up the range with minimum 350 hubs and 35mm inner rims

    Shimano E8000 derestricting options

Looking at the Speedclip on ebay it looks to be a version of the previous generation Badassbikes box so older, bigger case, CR7 battery, no slot for cable tie etc. I'd bet they are exactly the same as the previous gen model, fair chance they bought up the surplus stock. Whether that makes the...

    Vitus E-Sommet VR

I'd be amazed if it's anything other than new colours and minor spec tweaks. The bike is only one year old and it's not like they're struggling to sell them, the MBR grouptest win will only help that

    Meta Power 27.5 or 29?

Been on 29ers for years and wouldn't consider an analogue 27.5 trail bike. I've got a Vitus E-Sommet 27.5 and as others have said I think the motor offsets a lot of 29er advantages although I guess you would lose the added roll over through downhill chunk with no motor assistance. 170mm/160...

    Vitus E-Sommet VR

Cracking 10/10 review in the new MBR. Think it was a grouptest but not read how the competition fared as my mate sent me a photo of the page earlier

    Vitus E-Sommet VR

Speed sensor just unplugs from the side of the motor assembly and cable feeds back through the gap under the shock. The whole thing comes apart very easily, handy to have something under the motor to rest it on while you free up the cabling and particularly vice versa when reassembling. Just...

    Up The Lakes UK

Never ridden in the Lakes but a mate reckons an ebike wouldn't be suitable for some of the more tech routes due to hike a bike sections where even the walk mode wouldn't help. Any truth in this?
