    Riding with prescription glasses?

I'm 56, and in the contact lens camp. I use an Oakley cycling sunglass, from my road biking days, with gray or chromatic lens based on where I'll be riding. I have a tough time reading in anything but total bright sunlight, so I carry a set of cheap readers, either hung on my collar, if...

Discounted Bike and parts Thread - cheap(er) ebikes & stuff

Seems like Black Friday deals are coming in early this year. I've been seeing quite a few discounts. FYI, Quad Lock phone cases has 30% off right now on all items. I've been thinking about installing a mount on my Heckler. But, I did buy a case for my new phone, and 30% goes a long way...

Got my Heckler SL - First Ride and First Post

This is the worst complaint I have on my 2023 Heckler. The wire begs to be pulled out of the socket whenever I lift the bike by the head tube. There has to be a better way for this. Wait, LEFT side grip... OK, I have that one tucked nicely. For me, it is the one on the right side, from the...

What did you buy your ebike this week?

They are less useful for finding stolen property for sure, I think the only value left is finding misplaced stuff, and bags the airlines lose. Too bad, they were a great cheap way to track your stolen stuff.

    Nürburgring - Construction techniques .. 98 years ago ..

I feel blessed to have had a chance to drive this track. Something I'd only dreamed of doing. It was in my son's 3 cylinder diesel Audi, but it had a proper stick shift, so I felt good! I wasn't the fastest guy out there, I got passed by some very fast cars, but I did pass a few folks, even a...

Help with relacing Fox Transfer dropper cable

I bought the Jagwire dropper post cable. It is a little smaller diameter, slick, and works great with my FOX dropper. That piece is an add on. I do not remember if my kit from Jagwire came with a new one or if I reused my old one, but the kit worked slick...

    Northern California riders

Absolutely... Wilder Ranch. You can ride there directly from the Santa Cruz experience shop. The guys at the shop can give you loop suggestions, Trailforks and MTBProject Apps have info. You can park on the street, near the SC shop, down the street & around the corner possibly.
