Added a bit of bling to my wife's bike.

Strengthened garage door - suggestions, advice or recommendations?

When I built my house about 18 years ago, one thing I insisted on adding, was a steel man door. It wasn't much more than a wooden door, and they sure are secure. Just look for a commercial grade door. Thicknesses are often a bit different, I had to use a commercial grade lockset, but being...

    Nitros oxide being banned

While I carry CO2 on my road bike, for my MTB, I have this sucker: https://stompump.com/ Way better than a hand pump.

    Lotsa rain + lotsa wind = ...

I'm 56, and I've never called them trousers, though I've heard the word used by older folks, long ago... and once in a while, I'll see or hear it, but it is not the go-to word. I better poll my kids, all in their 20's...

    Quick coffee machine poll

This is the exact machine that served us so well for may years. I almost bought another one, but decided to try the Moccamaster instead.

Anyone have a wall mounted workshop stand?

I wouldn't want to lock myself into working in one location. A nice free standing stand is very useful being moved around.

    Review Knipex!!!

This is what I love about this forum... I learn new language skills. Please translate some of this, commentary included... The Americans had some weird ones at the drilling . I cannot deny us Americans have some weird ones... but what is "the drilling"? Crescent wrench for shifter ...

Best way to protect cables of Shimano Steps System

That little loop is out of the bar to the display. It comes out right under the display. The big loop, I think I need to open up the battery compartment & try to pull in some slack to clean it up.

    Quick coffee machine poll

Your grinder looks like mine except for the name. Looks like Sage=Breville... I never got the hang of using an espresso machine.

    Quick coffee machine poll

A couple of years ago, Tchibo wanted to enter the US market & offered this machine at a big discount, with a few bags of coffee: It actually does a pretty nice job of making an americano style cup. It is quite loud, but is easy to clean, and has a small footprint, so we use it in our camper...

    Quick coffee machine poll

A Pole I can get into! We have been rocking a Jura Superautomatic Classic S9 for a few years now. Love it. For when we want drip vs. espresso based drinks, we used to use a Cuisinart Grind & Brew, but after 15 years, it gave up, so we recently bought a Moccamaster setup and a Breville...

    E-MTB surplus greatly exaggerated?

My favorite beers from my UK & IOM travels last year were the cask ales, a style not prevalent in the US... I did find a brewery in Oregon though, that has 8 or 9 different cask ales that they brew. They don't do pressurized beers, only cask... Happy drinking!

    Review Knipex!!!

Genuine Knipex pliers are top notch. Crescent, nor knock offs are even close. I spent a bit of time at the SEMA show last year playing with the various models. I left very impressed, and with several new tools promptly ordered.
