Hopefully nobody minds the cross posting as it was relevant here.

I'm amazed at just how many miles people are managing to rack up. I've been out on my bike as much as i can since it is new and have cleared the 100km but there's people who have done over 4x that amount :D I wish it wasn't dark after work.
So almost 100 miles in on the motor now. Few thoughts.
Dropper post collar doesn't seem to like sitting about an inch above the frame. Scared to tighten it too much but i need it just that tiny bit higher for comfortable powering along when i get over the assistance.
Turbo mode is just silly...
Hardwick Hall barely visible in the background but I wasn't going to let the weather stop me today. Bike probably had about 1kg extra in mud by the end. ?
Hi all, so after getting a bit more familiar with my whyte e180 rs i would like to really start getting some elevation into my rides. I have access to komoot and would prefer to start a route from a proper car park but i'm not really sure what i should be attempting. I'm midlands based so...
I find pines a bit lacking in elevation but it's local so its still fun with the right people. We sometimes do night rides which changes the place dramatically.
Might be a daft question but what sort of places are you planning on riding it? Whilst there are loads of bikes to choose from in this sort of price range it might be easier to narrow it down a bit by where you aim to ride it and what you perhaps want to be able to achieve in the near to mid...
I just figured for the cost of the bike (and more matte finish) it wouldn't hurt to have a layer of minor damage protection.
I'm glad i didn't plan to charge the battery out of the bike often, it's a bit of a faff but worth the trade off in agility.
That's a better way of phrasing it than i could come up with. :D
on the go it feels like line choice isn't a thing, the ground has to give way to the bike.
So after waiting almost 2 months for an e160 rs and constantly having the date pushed back i managed to catch a cancellation from the LBS of a 180 rs. 1 week later and here it is :)
proper photos will come but i just had to get it set up and ready to ride.
First impressions are that it feels...
Mine has finally turned up today but I'm at work. Going to get the base settings on then it'll be heading off for invisiframe fitment. Can't wait to get out on it next week ? that 100km will be done in days.
