As i'm recently back on furlough i've been trying to get the miles in without doing any reckless. But this has resulted in needing to cover more distance to get the same level of exercise staying mostly on cycle paths/roads. As i am almost always by myself i don't see any good reason to limit...
Think it's this

before anyone loses their mind with the car/power washer. I only use the snow foam lance to apply a cleaner to take off the worst of it before putting actual effort in and hose to rinse. :p
my octavia has the variable boot floor (so flat loading area) and i use a hatchbag boot liner. I just rest the bottom of the frame on the floor with the fork hanging out of the car to remove/attach the front wheel. It might just fit (Medium frame) with both wheels on but it really isn't worth...
gone volspeed here. as much as i love the bike, i also do a lot of local trails on flat to low gradients and getting the assistance up to around 18 would feel more normal for what i'm used to. It's slightly disheartening trying to keep up a speed i would manage at ease with my old giant anthem.
Simple one here. If i keep racking up the miles like i am my assegai's will need replacing.
But what are fitted are 27.5 x 2.5", a lot of the better priced deals seem to be on 2.4" or 2.6" tyres. When the weather/covid situation improves i want to be getting back to more bike parks, should i go...
Part of me wants to try the 160 to see if i would have been content with it. Apart from the kashima bling i'm not convinced there is much noticeable difference.
If anything i'll be downgrading my e180 rs as time goes on  Mostly in terms of the drivetrain and long term running costs.
Dropper post seems fine but a fox one with kashima purely for looks would be a nice upgrade i guess.
No archery thread. All the indoor places we shoot have been shut most of the year ?
Where to go in Aberdeen really depends on what you want to do.
Kirkhill forest/tyre bagger is OK. The old Deeside railway is fine for some miles. You have Tarland Trails if you want some practice without...
i reckon it's fairly accurate give or take 10% like most things. I've had high 30's going down crazy steep roads which feels about right given i couldn't pedal any faster.
i have an evoc trail backpack mainly for the extra back protection it offers, it can use a hydration pack but i find i just take a lucozade sized bottle, spare inner tube, shock pump and tyre pump with me on most rides in the bag leaving space for gloves/waterproof jacket. I have a tool caddy...
on topic: if people were to be interested in organising this again i would be interested in joining.
off topic: if you are down nearer notts/derby would cannock chase not be a more enjoyable ride out?
i know exactly which bit you mean. I think until further work is completed that counts as part of the official red route after they swapped the previously connected red into blue going in the opposite direction. There is no way at all my normal bike would have made it through the gloop.
