I got the bike then bought pedals, grips, mudguards after a few weeks trying out what the bike shipped with. I might have to replace the stem by one 10-20mm longer as i sit just on the line of medium/large and got a medium frame on the advice (possibly poor) that if i do plan to do more bike...
Race in what context?
for mostly downhill i'm sure someone with actual talent unllike myself could make my whyte e180 rs fly down a hill but the sheer weight of it has to be a bigger issue when you would actually try to use it in something like EWS with uphill stages.
For casual use i can't...
I'll go pines now and see how badly the red route is waterlogged.
The grey area is doing something which puts you at risk of needing medical attention, but the mental/physical benefits of getting out i feel are worth it.
As for the car park, i paid for a years pass but since they are tearing...
I'm still getting to terms with battery/range in different conditions. But general rule of thumb is i'm running in tour mode most of the time. Big heavy bike with assegai's front and rear really doesn't lend itself well to running with the motor off. I'm fine with using eco when riding with...
Having been in a similar situation i would say that if you are set on that particular bike then you'll just have to wait it out. But there are so many really capable bikes out there for the same sort of money if you aren't hell bent on a levo. My impatience lead to me basically being overbiked...
Had a nice 26 mile ride this morning making the most of the cold keeping it mostly dry. Didn't quite fancy venturing into the trails as they were bound to be full of puddles.
The more i ride this beast the more i feel the need for better weather and longer days so i can get back to bike park...
For what little it is worth my bike came with assegai front and rear. i've been through some proper slop and dry conditions with pine needles and it has felt planted everywhere. All i did with the wetter weather was run a bit less pressure.
only time my power washer gets anywhere near the bike is to make use of the snow foam lance to lazily apply some cleaning product. A good coating of silicone shine (or equivalent) and there's not too much just a normal hose attachment won't take off. But a portable one would certainly be a lot...
The bottle is for tools, its mostly padded out with shop towel to stop any rattles but i'd rather just carry water on my back and have less tools to land on if i come off. :) got some tyre levers, vinyl gloves, tubeless plugs, multitool for bike, multitool for random other stuff (knife) and some...
