The pistons actually look fairly central from the pics. If you look closely you should be able to see where the top and bottom of the pad material line up with the rotor. Then you can work out if you need to move or add an extra washer to space it out.
I really like the intradrive - especially since it fit's an ep8 designed bike.
Would be nice with a little more torque and if this could be specced when buying a bike!
Lucky you ;)
Give the chainring and jockey wheels a wipe with a cloth to get the dust off, and give the chain a clean and lube.
Personally wouldn't touch the rest of the bike but depends how bothered you are about how clean it is. You can eventually get a build up of dust on the fork seals that...
Get a chain checker to measure the stretch, once it reaches 0.5mm you should change the chain, if it goes past 0.75mm there's a good chance you'll need a new cassette or it will skip when you put a new chain on.
If you've got to that stage already I'd just run it until you are snapping chains...
Decent riding for someone who's only been riding a couple of months!
Your arse is going to take some time to get used to riding so I wouldn't rush to swap saddles. I quite like Specialized saddles for comfort though.
Do you ride over Wharncliffe side much?
Not an upgrade but I have a spare...
It does happen, especially with all the Finale rocks to whack the mech on! A mech alignment tool (and spare hanger or two) is useful.
I'm hoping we'll have gearboxes soon so I don't have to worry about mechs/hangers!
There's a bit difference going from a normal bike to an ebike but you pick this up with time. When I've not ridden the ebike for a while the first few trails feel a bit weird until I've got used to it again. My ebike is double the weight of my normal bike though.
Cornering - One of the main...
Yeah this is something I'm looking for in my next bike. I have a Mondraker Level, 29" and 180/170mm travel. Great bike but it's 27.5kg. If a 29" Kenevo came out at around 23kg I'd buy it. There's not much to choose from currently....
What races are you doing? Unless it's EWS or a national champs I've not seen much info about camera mounting.
I usually just use a mount on top of my lid for the race and nobody's ever questioned it.
A mount on a breakaway peak seems to be the safest position.
Can you give us an idea of what you've broken?
You will need a new adaptor between frame and caliper if you are going up in rotor size, 2 and 4 pot mount in the same way.
A 4 pot will cope with brake dragging better because there's a larger surface area of pad material on the rotor, but...
