When I installed a Cane Creek DB coil shock on my mtb TF Tuned recommended the spring for me based on my weight and riding style.
It was way over the size that Cane Creek had recommended for my weight on their website.
I suggest you send an e mail to the guys at TF Tuned and ask what they...
I’ve already explained to you that I messaged the site administrator regarding becoming a trader and got no reply. I’ve also clicked on the link to contact them but that takes me to a Ducati forum.??? If you are in charge here, you tell me what more I can do. You didn’t reply last time I asked...
There is a gap, depends where you clamp the front two ties. Further up the down tube narrows the gap and further down widens it. On mine the gap is probably 2mm. I did supply the first ones with a strip of dense foam to cushion it but after speaking to the Shimano tech guys they told me the...
Two years of testing / selling and no one has broken, cracked or complained that they don’t work plus KTM use the same material (actually thinner than mine) on their enduro motorbike sump guards is about as near to giving total protection in my opinion. Thanks for your opinion though.
I’ll not put a link to my bash guards as the internet police will come knocking at my door. I’m sure someone else can point this chap in the right direction though ?
Has anyone wondered what they will do when they do have E8000 motor issues and their motor is out of warranty? Mines ok at the moment but it's almost two years old and sods law says it's going to die a few days after. I've looked into it and basically you can't buy a replacement motor (in the...
You take out one of the bolts already on your bike and replace it with a special one I supply. The bracket I supply is fastened in wth this bolt. You then use the two countersunk bolts I supply to fasten the guard to the bracket.
New guards are as in the above photos. All bolts brackets etc supplied. No drilling or mods to the bike required. Just need a 6mm Allen key and fits in a couple of mins.
It fits an E120 (my misses has one). There’s little or no clearance between the motor and guard. It’s made from a heavy duty type of plastic and it weighs nothing, relatively speaking. Less than one pedal. I’ll weigh one but it’s really not heavy at all.
I can trim one down if you want, no problem. As for hopping over trees etc, that's what it's designed to do. Just let me know how wide you would like it and I'll cut one down, fit it and let you see a photo.
The bracket plus special mounting bolt would cost £20 and postage is roughly another £25.
That's about 82 Aus Dollars.
I use UPS to ship which is not the cheapest by a long way but it's tracked, fast and reliable. The bracket and bolt actually weigh more than the guard which is why it's the same...
