Weirdly on Discovery+ in UK the coverage when i looked on Tues this week was saying they were showing the Semis on Sat, so i was quite looking forward to that. However clearly that never transpired this weekend which is a bloody shame. Not just for the big boys but for the other riders who are...
Out yesterday with [smention u=84]crust[/smention] it was interesting to see how the newer Rise would do against his Rail.
I knew it'd be OK in a riding context and it didn't let me down at all, on the trailsy bits the Orbea was flying. I know it's the budget version even compared to the...
Because just because a bearing feels OK, after several years the odds are it's not. It may still be reasonable, but it can be better. If i've got the hub off and the wheel out, the bearing press sorted, i may as well put fresh nice new bearings in there, it's just common sense to me.
Oh i hear you 100% on that fella... I may be faster and better than i used to be, but i'm DEFFO older than i used to be and riding day in day out at tough places really is an absolute killer.
The locals don't really go for easy stuff mate, there's places like Merthyr Vale but that's super tech and steep, but i'd bet there's fireroad stuff there too, There's a LOT of ongoing roadworks with the new bypass and everywhere i see is either 'town' or trashed completely by the digging
You need to find a happy place, the answer to 'does the perfect bike exist' is of course NO. Today it'll be a 170mm Enduro with big battery, tomorrow it'll be a Lightweight with less battery and 140mm of travel. Then at the weekend it'll be a 200mm DH version..
So, pick what's going to suit you...
I've wondered the same as i've got the same bike... I (probably incorrectly) assumed they'd come with a cable to connect into the loom somewhere. But i'm curious as to the answer.
Out of interest, why ?
A lot depends upon a few things.
1. How you want the bike to feel
2. The suspension progression curve of the frame.
In some ways with a coil it'll feel more 'dead' but more plush with it, it'll lose some of it's poppiness but will absorb bumps and hits much much nicer (in my experience).
It's...
Or walkers, or machinery or just about anything else really. Putting it directly on cyclists seems a bit harsh. Of course it may well have been cyclists.. but just about any transmission method was fairly plausible.
i dunno, Revs seems to have a bit of a cult following and i think they'd do OK if they can re-open. Obviously you've now also got Caersws which is getting in on the market as well as Dyfi, Antur etc... but i think Revs would still manage to get takers.
There's a race at the end of June there which i may stick an entry in for my boy. We're 1/2 a mile away a couple of times this year for races at Rhyd-Y-Felin in the next field, including the National Champs... but we've not done Revs, so may sort for him.
Well Discovery+ is showing as starting for the Sat morning at 11am here... Then basically all Sat and Sun on Discovery+
Whether that's the reality or not, we'll wait and see, but looks to me like it SHOULD be there
Sounds great, I have a Status 160 and I'm often in the FoD, but my ebike is an Orbea I'm afraid. I can't keep up with Eebs on a manual.
However I'd love to chat, not just about Ebikes too.
Completed now.
