I wrote a mail to my LBS and said "I've got play , can you raise a warranty please"
2 weeks later, the parts arrived. I then fitted it all.
I'm not convinced my play was anything more than just needing undoing and retightening but the video did the job.

I've got an old linkage here you can borrow. I had mine swapped under warranty to the new linkage. It's got about 500 miles from new on it. All bearings are good
Rode the purple one at Staunton on trails, Enduro type riding with up, down, falls, glory and smiles.
Rode the Orange one to my house on a few trails/roads after dropping van off for servicing.

transit custom for us. It's a bit different to this now as we've got toolboxes, spares etc, the sides are carpeted. But essentially it's still a van.
If we need food, the Webber BBQ goes with us, along with a bike washer and a gazebo.

I could effortlessly go to a 10 speed on the Eeb in truth, if i had say a 46T biggest cog on the cassette that would be perfectly fine IMO. Possibly even a 42. I've ridden the wifes old Liv with a 36T biggest and only a few times did i need more.
Without more information it's impossible to say really.
Depends if you want a 140mm like a Rise in an SL type, or a full fat like the Rail above, or something with more bounce, less bounce, where you are and what dealers are local etc.
It's 'correct' and won't contaminate your pads... other cleaners, maybe not.
Nail polish remover is perfectly good at cleaning your rotors too as is any isopropyl based cleaner.
It's not a massive investment, for say £10 you'll get 5 years out of it....
Tip for seat stays, (after doing same myself) is to do it on the floor with the bike wheels on the ground. I found they align almost instantly and it was a breeze. I ended up having to buy an M10 tap and running it through the thread on the orange one as i wasn't sure if it was just the bolt...
If you can get some with it one way, some with it another, that screams bent hanger to me. Borrow a mech hanger alignment tool from someone to remove it from the discussion

I believe that once they've signed the track off at a certain time of the weekend they're not allowed to change it afterwards. I think this is in case someone then rides the track without knowing there's a change and has an accident.

My ebikes are uplift vans. Simple as that. On my Ebike days i don't care about my HR, my cardio, they're just a method of getting me to the top of the hill to get back down the trails.
I still ride my MTB equally in terms of days out and on the other days i'll be found riding on Zwift to sort...
