There are loads of threads about this on here
Try a bike specific search like - Levo Mullet
Depending on which bike you've got obviously
For me personally, I did it and I love it
Just take note of the comments regarding geometry changes , bottom bracket heights and pedal strikes relating...
Gutted I couldn't go on the first group ride jolly of the year with my mates today due to a back injury,
Cheered myself up fitting some 160mm Rockshox Zeb Ultimate forks to my bike with custom decals from Slik Graphics
They look awesome and 38mm stanchions really suit the proportions of the...
In theory yes but you need to check several potential compatibility issues -
If the axie to crown length is different then the geometry will change
Is the steerer the the same i.e tapered , straight ?
Is the steerer tube long enough ?
Is the axle mount the same ? it could be quick release...
Never been so excited about a part I didn't want to fit but I inevitably come across other trail users in Forest of Dean ,
I normally drag my brake or call out to announce my presence
Thought I'd try this bell and be more PC
Mate bought a Knog one for about £15
This one cost my £3.49 on eBay...
Apologies , missed the eye to eye thingy
Brain fog just saw shorter shock and spewed out the above hollyhocks
You are correct, same eye to eye = no geometry changes but less stroke does = less travel
Sorry for confusion
It will change your geometry a little, slackening your head and seat angle by approx 0.25 to 0.5 degree,
Lower your bottom bracket by about 5mm, shortern your rear travel by about 7mm depending on the leverage ratio of your suspension
The bike would sit a little lower
Imagine weighting your...
I know the whole area really well , I've done about 9000km exploring here on an Ebike in the last 5 yrs and many more thousands pedaling the hard way for 10 yrs previous to that
There are loads of blue unnoficial trails which are great fun inc around Mallards
Dr Jon's isn't far from Mallards...
Yes there are a couple of no go wildlife areas , which is a shame cos they are beauts
I've walked them to scope them out
One goes from the Tramway opposite the Stone masons depot at the bottom of Cannop Ponds to Whitemead in Parkend just below Dowies
The other is higher up between The Quarry...
I'm not aware of any 'no riding" restrictions
In that area apart from the wildlife sanctuaries
There aren't any official blue Trails in that area but there's loads of blue grade stuff over there
It's also a nice link up section between Dowies and the main Cycle Center trails
I think that may be the area known as Broadwell Bumps , just up the road from The Recycling Centre
It's an official jump park , but it's quite small
It has graded tabletops , jumps and bomb holes
It's worth an hours playtime if you're in the vacinity but wouldn't drive there specifically...
Tried out some Galfer 203mm discs today
I really like them
Plenty of stopping power , minimal noise using organic pads
Easy to fit , just had to fit 1.5 mm spacers to the calipers as I was using 200mm discs previously
No obstructions on the disc to clash anywhere , just a flat surface
Less than...
I was ( and still do if I'm honest ) struggling with tight , hairpin , uphill , off camber switchbacks especially to the right
Had some coaching and he recommended head way up , almost unnaturally high and looking way ahead , even further than the exit of the manoeuvre.
Seemed weird at first...
Thanks , sounds like contender
I have the same bike/colour scheme
Hurry up already with those pictures ? I need to see how bling or it looks in the bike ?
Rediscovered this the other day

When I first heard ' Shake my tree' I thought it was an old school Whitesnake and Led Zeppelin mashup
That's pretty much what it is , Jimmy Page with David Coverdale on vocals
Definitely worth a listen , reminiscing for the...
Sounds like a bit of a mission
I was thinking of changing my dropper post to something more shiney , looks like I need to allow for a swearbox in the purchase budget ??
Is it too late to use one of these ?
Join old and new outer together whilst old outer is still in place and pull new outer though
Unscrew joiner and bask in your own smugness ?
