What's your flexibility like? I'd suggest that if you're doing long swims your lower back would be quite tight to begin with. I'm thinking back to my tri days & remembering how horrible it was to get down on the aerobars after a long swim
Ha! And I've got a bike ordered with a shimano motor & am worried about the inability to service the motor....
And I'm worried about the noise from my Bosch motor....
Will my battery be crap if I keep charging it after I ride...
The interwebs will do your head in but when I put on the headphones...
Yes. I didn't realise they cost so much. Someone going through my rubbish bin could have made some money.
I only run 2.4 - 2.5 but just because the big tyres always look too cumbersome for the tight technical tracks where I live.
Ok here's a novice tip that took me a couple of tyre changes to...
I'd suggest that you only get one go with the helicoil & given the consequences if done incorrectly I'd recommend getting an engineering shop to do it. It'd cost bugger all to do.
If they're the same rims as the Trek Rail 7 then it will prob be the plastic rim strip that takes up a lot of space. I removed mine & rim taped it to make the removal & installation "easier" The sooner it is done the better in my experience.
Ha! I was thinking that as I wrote it  Some of the repaint wore off from the rack exposing the hideous stock paint. Luckily the original paint is so crap it has worn staight through to Ali.
I talked to an independent suspension guy & I think what he says makes sense.
I've done nearly 2500Kms of reasonably rough riding over the past year & he thinks that a seal may have worn out. It does need a service & if there is something that is not normal wear & tear but is damaged then that...
Agreed. A kenovo was the 1st emtb I tried. It wasn't working properly for some reason so I had to ride unassisted. Put me off trying Emtbs for nearly a year. 😝
Do you mean by comparing them in a workshop side by side or out on the trail? I find it pretty hard to guage how much travel the back is using out on the trail, as if it getting to the stage of bottoming out the rear my mind is more focused on the exit line.
Yeah I'm sure it should be covered by warranty. The guy I'm dealing with is the DVO importer. I'm thinking that I've done nothing wrong, it's one year old & it's not working so should be covered by warranty.
By my illogical thinking if I have to pay nearly $300 /year for a service then it's...
The selector switch for "firm/medium/full" on my jade X coil shock isn't working anymore after a ride yesterday. The shock is stuck on full squish. It's one year old to the day.
I contacted the local importer/builder & he thinks it is up for an annual service "The switch only does that when...
WIll the 2023 bikes actually be "2022" bikes. I wonder if with all the waiting & backlogs manufacturers decide to forget about 2022 models completely & market them as 2023 models so they won't disappoint buyers expecting them within this year.
Yeah the (small)2nd hand market is hot. If selling I think you can pretty easily get what you bought it for if it is a desired model. There was a Rail 7 like mine advertised for $6500NZ the other week. I paid $7K for mine 1 1/2 yrs ago & had I been quicker would have jumped on it for the wife...
