There is, I did it on a new DT Swiss wheelset, I'm running 10speed on what was a micro spline hub, now it is Hyperglide. A quick google came up with nothing, so I'm not much help.
Micro spline only comes in 12 speed. 10 and 12 speed shifters have different throw so the indexing will be out.
Correct, knowing that your light draws 7.5w you can have a dealer reduce the current down closer to that. I’m not sure of the increments available but something around 9w will do. Dependant on the LED driver if you drop below the required amount it won’t be dull it just won’t turn on.
Bosch knows this also, there is some literature that mentions the battery percentage has been adjusted to account for this so that their batteries last longer, also hence why the earlier incarnations, purion for example, will cut off at X% but the smart systems will run down to 0%, even with the...
Sorry I misread the chart you posted, it states 1.5amp @ 12v for the Bosch gen 4, that is obviously what the bosch can output not the light... So yes, your light draws .65amp which means you can run your light from the Aux Power Port, which can output 1 amp.
See this thread for the cable etc, I...
If I get a large puncture that I don’t think the plug will hold I remove the tyre and patch it from the inside with regular superglue and a cut-out of old inner tube. I have never had one of those fail.
Yeah so your light outputs 1.5 amp at 12v, which means it won’t run off the Aux Power Port, which can only take 1 amp.
Apart from adding a buck converter, 36v to 12v, to the loom you are stuck with the Bosch lighting system which will save a bit in the battery reserve whether you are using the...
I have a Cigs 315w Flexible panel stuck to the roof of the van and a Bluetti AC200MAX Power station onboard. The Cigs panel is fantastic in overcast or shaded situations, like the UK! We recently did 2 weeks camping in the Scottish Highlands, including Orkneys and inner Hebrides with 2 Full Fat...
I bet if we had the 32km/h cut-off here in Europe & UK there would be a lot less derestricted bikes, a lot less…
Some people kicking off in this debate live in the states and don’t know what it is like to have the much lower cut-off.
Although given the population density difference...
What sort of backhanded comment is that? Haibike is built and manufactured in Germany! Then Sur-Ron and drugged-out skateboarders. So much prejudice, racism and ignorance in that post...
Its still shut off at 10%… well 9%. That is with light feature enabled, but not turned on via the Purion, nothing plugged into the light ports.
Interestingly it also shut down the Aux Power power.
So all you have is an ebike that can run a light for a few hours.
Yeah, I’ve had it happen a bunch of times, always around 10%, hence this thread.
So you read that the battery reserve for the light is determined by the maximum wattage of the light. Interesting.
I still have the light circuit enabled, despite still running the lights from the AUX power port. So...
Interesting... I have heard that if the light function is set to 6v it won't stop assist at 10%...
I have been caught out too many times within 1-4miles from home to know it's no conspiracy, both at night with the light on and during the day with lights off. Unlike the normal condition of PAS...
