There is, I did it on a new DT Swiss wheelset, I'm running 10speed on what was a micro spline hub, now it is Hyperglide. A quick google came up with nothing, so I'm not much help.Is there such a thing as an adapter to let you run a 10 speed cassette on a micro spline hub? Or a 10speed cassette with a MS fitting?
Alternatively could I use an exiting 10 speed shifter with a 12 speed hub and lose 2 gears?
Fantastic, I have a micro spline wheel set I want to use on an older bike for winter road use. Any specifics would be great! There is, I did it on a new DT Swiss wheelset, I'm running 10speed on what was a micro spline hub, now it is Hyperglide. They are Orbea rims, I'll have a good look at the hub, but knowing my luck it won't fitthey are converting the other way.
DT Swiss Steel ratchet freehub conversion kit for Shimano MTB, 142 / 12 mm or BOOST
This is what I used, it allows me to fit a Shimano HG 10speed to what was a Hyperglide hub, there are other versions for 3 pawl ratchets etc, not sure if they are specific to DT swiss hubs though...
Would I not also need to swap the derailleur? Also, that would then make the current wheels with 10 speed hub redundant. It would be easier to swap the shifter.
