Posting pictures is easy. look on the task bar just above where you are typing. Run the cursor slowly across the individual items to see what they do. One of them is a rectangle with some wiggly lines inside (meant to be a sun shining on a mountain I guess), that is the one you want. click on it...
@Semmelrocc Do you have one of those fancy saddles with an air channel in them. They are supposed to relieve pressure on the perineal nerve (they are called the "love saddle"). That channel is great in the Summer! Less so in the wet and the cold.
I went to the local outdoor shop and bought a tarpaulin for (it was £10 when I got it but that was years ago). It is 12'x 8' which is way too big, but with the rear seats folded down, it goes in doubled up at 6' long x 4' wide. It is flexible and folds up nice and small. I leave it in the boot...
Just watched the video! That is very bad, there should be no movement like that.
It looks and sounds as though something is broken! Or something very loose inside.
I would not ride the bike until that is fixed.
I would strip it down, remove the fork and so forth, then examine every single...
Yep, there are too many stories like that for me to ever buy a Speccy.
People ramp up the Shimano motor hate, but I see nothing but Brose love.
I have never used the Timber bell, but I have used a variety of other bells, even a small bulb-horn once. The problem with a bell is of course that walkers (including runners) spin round in astonishment when they hear it or leap to one side and give me "the look". The look that says "you...
My hearing aids are a natty silver and black colour rather like a Panansonic TV. I like them. :) I wouldn't mind a bike in those colours.
To be honest, if they had still been like the huge Elastoplast pink ones the NHS used to give out when I was a kid, I'd still be asking people to speak up...
I'm not sure what you mean by "the headset". I must have owned a dozen bikes and all I ever did was to replace the bearings. I always put plenty of water-resistant grease above and below the bearings and between all sliding surfaces that could pass water. I may have led a sheltered life and...
@Rickster Blood Yell! :eek:
I'm surprised that your suspension didn't freeze up as the oil viscosity increased. Or do you have special winter grade oil?
I wear a Bell Super 3, without the optional click on chin guard because I already had a full-face helmet when I bought the Bell Super. My grandson grew out of his full-face helmet; he also had a Bell Super 3, so I bought him the chin guard for it because I couldn't get a replacement full face in...
There is a small auto body shop a few miles from me that I have been using for over 30 years. They have all the tech and are good enough for the main dealer workshops to use them for their overflow work. As a favour to me he painted a bike frame for a bike that I was building up for my grandson...
You need the inside diameter as well as the outside diameter. Also, the thickness.
In addition, some bearings have an angled face on the top or bottom.
There are a variety of seals, but although sealing is important, find the bearing size and then pick the one with the best seal arrangement.
I...
What would you do if it was your car? Some body coloured polish and a bit of T-Cut maybe! How about touch up paint?
Yes, with a bit of luck you can fix it yourself. Maybe so that you can only tell close up. See here:
I could have done a better job, taken more time, filled it first done...
