We have people like that in the UK. They are 17-year-old girls on the lash out to a nightclub in Newcastle in the winter. The only jacket they wear is called a beer jacket! It is stunning to see how little they can wear in the coldest of weather. All so they don't have to check their coat at...
Yep! My e13 chain guide kept jamming the chain; once it was removed, I had no further problems and no dropped chain either. :)
Then I sold the e13 guide on eBay and got 60% of the new price!!!!! :ROFLMAO:
You have probably had a load of punctures without noticing, because the sealant did its job. Sealant does not last forever; it goes off and doesn't work; it also can run out if you have had lots of punctures!
When my regular pressure loss starts to increase, I know it's time to top up the...
This whole thread says that you can adjust the stroke length within the limit of the design. The one I had could be altered from 55 to 50mm stroke. What I don't know is where yours is on the continuum. Is it a 65 to 60 range and is already at the bottom of adjustment or is it a 60 to 55 stroke...
It seats my 29x2.5 without any difficulty so I'd be confident that it will do a 29x2.6.
Later edit: Oh, and I was forgetting my previous bike that had two 29x2.6 and there was no problem there either!
For many years I too thought I was not at the hearing aid point yet. I had an emotional prejudice against hearing aids based upon childhood experiences with deaf kids. That big pink hearing aid in their shirt pocket with two curly cables going into large plugs in their ears. I shudder at the...
@p3eps Drill two holes through the guard and zip-tie it directly to the cross brace. That will stop it slipping and maximise clearance with the tyre. As @Growmac said protect the frame.
I know the OP has fixed his problem, but I would have removed the crank arm and then used a vice to squeeze the crank arm. Insert blocks as appropriate to apply the force where required. Slow and easy!
One restrictive factor not mentioned with full face helmets is the eating and drinking aspect. There are ways around it of course, other than removing the helmet first. But I was chewing on an energy bar and found it a bit dry so I had a drink from my bladder. As I did so, I had an involuntary...
I understand your question and the implied criticism of @Kevjob51
But as @Stihldog has referred to, walkers/riders with hearing impairment just might not have heard the rider/runner coming up behind them. They don't have to be deaf (as in totally deaf), just not 100%. My problem is the high...
I have similar pressure losses on my tyres and all previous tubeless tyres, except the Mavic UST ones I had when I first went tubeless in 2010. Mavic were the tubeless innovators and their tyres were designed to hold pressure without sealant. But of course, I used sealant because despite their...
I am CERTAIN that I read a very good review of a Suntour fork. It was a while ago and I'd have to look for it. It was in one of the bike mags, MBR, or What Mountain Bike. Sadly, WMB is now defunct, but MBR is still extant and I just found this...
I was one of those saying keep the bike in your tent when sleeping. My viewpoint was security. If you have a big vehicle and people can't see what's in it, then I guess that is secure enough.
Ref James_C's post #19. It had never occurred to me to consider an outward opening side-hinged pair of doors. I really like the look of them, and the utility of course. They look as though they would be much more robust and secure than standard garage doors. But they take up a big swept area in...
I have thin galvanised sheet steel doors, of the up and over type. They are heavy to use and take up a lot of room inside the garage when in action. They also radiated heat into the garage in the Summer and radiated heat out of the garage in the Winter. In addition, they don't fit too well...
