It's deffo shortened the chances of my lad making it into a WC jersey, but arguably the biggest stumbling block of that goal was the removal of Fort William as there's usually a larger allocation of GB jerseys which would have increased his chances most. All of that said, we didn't plan/think...

Just what mates who run shops tell me. There's some bikes of course at full price they'll make on.. but many many many they won't

I can absolutely promise you, this is NOT the case. If an LBS makes £200 ($300) on a bike sale they've done OK.

Because the components still cost XYZ. A set of Forks, Brakes, Frame, etc all still have a cost. Even if you make the battery and motor and sell it at a loss, everything else still costs what it costs. Plus distribution, support, warranty, etc etc There's a bucket load of costs. So you either...

    orbea wild H20 2023 deal

Hard to fault. Yeah the forks are a bit meh... but you can get a set of 36s used for not much money and brakes are all down to personal choice anyway.

Decoy upper headset (for a change)

That's a decent guess, but without removing it and measuring it I wouldn't say with 100% certainty

    Is Orbea customer service horrible

Well, not always, look at KTM, Triumph etc. even Trek or Specialized, they're all brought in when needed. Sure a dealer will have a few bits, but mostly they come from a central location

Yup. Completely. Plenty of suppliers use customers as their test bed, their guinea pigs and development process, we see bike after bike after bike that last less than 10 miles before having motor issues. To think that a brand new player into the game won't have teething problems is honestly...

Decoy upper headset (for a change)

The black collar is your headset cup. They're can be removed yes, but usually to be replaced with another headset cup that's maybe different, like an Angleset reducer

Most bikes fit that for me. Due to my boy being fast I get to see just how obvious it is that I'm the one holding bikes back, not the bike holding me back. Like everyone, I love a nice bike. But it seems I'm less concerned about power than some. I could happily stick with the power delivery of...

Because you can save a lot lot more than £1000 https://mtbmonster.com/sale-orbea-rise-h30-2024-metallic-mulberry-black/ I bought this from here for £3000 That's a lot of saving for the performance.

    Rise 25 creaky headset

Weighs sod all mate. Honestly. It's a bit big, but I was offering an idea for the problem you described of having instant 8nm torque. I've got multiple of these for different settings on the boys race bike

    Is Orbea customer service horrible

I chatted with one today, he was happy. You know the speed sensor is £30. If someone isn't riding their bike because of a £30 speed sensor then more fool them.
