Mine was 4-5 days from confirmation to it arriving at LBS, it took me about an hour to fit. Not a hard job. I've had a little bit of dirt noise since, but a quick wipe down and it's all good. The newer linkage is deffo better than the old one, although both are a little weak in some ways but...
NAh then. the Mulberry colour above is the same as mine and came with the older linkage. It's really hard to tell from the pics as they're very very similar from a lot of angles. Weirdly, mine came with the tensioning bolt on the side of the main linkage, which is strictly speaking for the...
Completely different frame design on the new-new ones.
I bought what i think was a 23 older shape but newer gen of motor, EP6RS, that came with the older linkage weirdly but the new motor. I emailed the supplier and said i had issues with the linkage and got a new one a week later from Orbea...
I doubt 90% of riders even know the difference, let alone care. If a bike rides well, it rides well. Mostly it's just people who are 'average' and honestly it really doesn't matter.
Yeah i'm sold... Sadly i'm not in the market right now... Well, not sadly as i'm happy.... But lets just say when i am, it'll be hard to resist the Vala.
I've got the EP6RS motor in my 23 Rise and LOVE it.. but compared to an 85Nm motor it's a bit slower on the tough climbs, but happily my mate is a bit less fit, so on those i just work a little harder :)
Personlly i think the 60Nm is perfect.... but that's just my opinion.
Ah i'm afraid it's Sat mate as the wife has been away. I was supposed to be in Shropshire but the boy has broken his wrist so me and mates are hitting FOD, but the wife will be back Sat evening so we should spend Sun together as i've not seen her for a fortnight.
It's certainly a really easy way to answer the question. I'm at home most days and can get to the trails within 30s from my house, so we could have an answer within 5 mins easily.
For me it's places like Forest of Dean, Hopton Woods or even my local rides in West Berks. Things like BPW, Dyfi, Antur etc can be fun, but it's not the same sense of laughs and adventure, it's all a bit more serious there.
Hitting Dowies and Shuttcastle at FOD is absolutely brilliant and pure...
If it would help, i'm just south of Didcot and you can try mine and i'll try yours. I've ridden a fair few ebikes so will be able to say if yours is 'right'
How about upping the pressure and dropping the volume spacers.... I'd be curious to see the results for that.
A lot is going to depend on how you're riding and what you're hitting. It'll be hard if you're hitting something that needs 190mm of travel to get it to work well at both ends of the...
