That's a good point!
I have used Miranda Deltas , 5DEV and currently on Pinnd.
The Mirandas were purchased from Amazon and didn't include bolts or self extractors. I bent them riding like a hack to be fair , but I was able to straighten them out with a large hammer and block of wood so I think...
On the topic of cassette spreads , I run Linkglide 10 speed 11 -43 and only need the 43t on the steepest of climbs on the trails I ride. That was the main reason I chose 10 speed Deore over 11 speed XT.
If Shimano made 10 speed XT spec , I'd be on it.
That said , the Deore has been very good. I...
With a sensor detecting the crank arm only , it will be receiving signal per crank rotation. With the Speedi , the signal is sent per wheel rotation and continues while coasting obviously. Both use the same principle but the Speedi is much more subtle.
Safe to say the price is holding a lot of interested riders back. With all the talk of manufacturers overstocked and offering big savings on the backlog of '23 bikes , we're not seeing that from Mondraker.
Got this message from my mate that runs the Kayo account:
From 20 February 2024, existing Kayo Premium customers will be migrated to Kayo Basic, which means the number of devices you can stream on at once will change from 3 to 2.
You will be able to experience Kayo in 4K* in March 2024.
Your...
I'm assuming if its on Foxtel and its sports , it will be on Kayo. Nothing confirmed yet that I have found though.
Myself and 2 friends share a Kayo account which costs $105 AUD per year , per person. That allows for 3 devices to access the account at any one time.
I got my refund from GCN+ in...
https://www.pinkbike.com/news/warner-brothers-discovery-espn-and-fox-aim-to-launch-new-sports-streaming-service.html
Some info finally revealed. I'm hopeful that there are no georestrictions and that everyone can access the service. I already have a Fox sports subscription (Kayo in Australia)...
I'd suggest setting location access for the Flow app to "Don't allow". Hopefully this will eliminate any conflict with distance over time that could cause an error.
Im 180cm on a M Crafty. I could be on an L but chose to be "compact" rather than "stretched out".
I have replaced the 30mm stem with a 35mm and have no regrets with my choices.
I would suggest an M for your height. An M Mondraker has the same 470mm reach as an L Trek , as a reference to irie's...
I unsubbed some time ago , the channel provided no value to me at all.
I think their target audience are people new to riding , not just E riding in particular. I say that because anyone that's been around MTBs even if only for a couple of years will quickly realise the channel is just an...
I was thinking the other day , will GCN+ disappear ? Will previous subscribers be able to watch replays of the 2023 races ?
I was able to log in just now , so decided to rewatch Loudenville final. Great , I thought !
The video quality would be lucky to be 360P and yes , I let it run for a few...
Yeah , it's odd. I have tried B screw adjustments either side of the recommended position and settled on slightly further away that the mark on the cage advises. That seemes to be the sweet spot. It's an inconsistent problem that leads me to believe I may have to replace the cable outer , its...
I should be a more helpful guinea pig and run this chain and cassette into the ground :p but as I have a new LG chain on hand , I figure I may as well use it before the cassette gets worn to the point of not accepting a new chain.
I don't accept the claim by Shimano that Linkglide will last X...
1000kms on this setup now. Chain at 0.75% wear , no noticeable wear and tear on the mech. Shifting is as good as it ever was , it has never been perfect and I find the need to adjust the cable at the shifter one click now and then to get consistent shifting.
Overall , it has been good value for...
I bought Miranda Deltas , they lasted a few weeks before a decent pedal strike bent one of them like it was butter. The price is right , I just wished they were a little tougher.
(lets keep my riding skills out of this discussion please) 😁
Yeah but one thing worse than buying a new bike and not getting to ride it until a warranty issue is corrected is voiding warranty by touching the problem yourself.
