I had the RR, aside from the brakes the other main weak point are the wheels, absolute trash according to the reviews, a guy I know also has the 22 R and destroyed his rims within a couple of months. I swapped mine for DT Swiss before riding. I also changed to a 200mm Reverb (don't think there...
This place is pretty dead now, innit? Anyway, I got a bargain price on a set of 2023 Zeb Ultimates in 180mm, just waiting for a 160mm spring to turn up from the States and I'll be good to go. Should rip!
It plugs directly into one of the terminals on the motor. With the plastic motor cover removed it's pretty easy to pull through and back through the new stays isn't hard either, put a stiffer bit of cable through as a draw wire
I'm 191cm and had an XL R (sadly had to sell it). I sat on an XL XR and a L R in the shop and could ride either so reckon you'll be fine on an L, they are long bikes
Did anyone put a 170mm 29 on their 2018/19 Sommet? Think I'm going to mullet mine, will prob go 160 but have 180 27.5 on there at the moment so just curious
Also have a 2022 Crafty and as Paul Mac says (hi Paul!) after initially being disappointed the range has gotten much better. If I do a ride all in emtb and a mate does the same on his 625 bike in tour (not apples for apples but not too far off) I still end up with about 10% more charge at the...
Cheers @R120 .
Mate rode it on Thursday as his is off the road, he's never ridden it before and was loving it even though it's a size too big for him. If money was no object I'd keep it to be honest, it's a wicked bike as you know. Would be a shame to split and and the frame ending up unused
Would consider parting this out if enough interest. Frame with all the Shimano ebike parts would need to go first though although might also consider it if someone wants the motor and/or batteries

True - in general seems to be
Trek - highest cost for spec. Best warranty (lifetime on frame)
Mondraker - middle for both. 5 years on frame
Cube. Best bang for buck. Not sure on warranty but seem most likely to argue/reject. Seems to be a few big German companies that follow this model
You...
I kind of wish Cube had put a 38 on the front of the 140 or mulleted the 160 although I can see their logic in differentiating them.
Would also like to see some reviews, mainly on the more progressive suspension curve. Geo looks great. My head is getting turned from the Rail but it's a bit...
Think they are cheaper over there then! I bought a near new used rear for £300 and £80 for the used front H1900. Mismatched wheels on a new bike, the horror! I have covered up most of the graphics on the 1501 with matt black vinyl though.
Have you weighed yours @beans ?
I have a Rail 9 on order but have also been looking at the other two (well 3 with the 2 Cubes). Also bear in mind that (as long as not riding a small frame) you will be getting the new Bosch system with the 750wh battery on the Cubes and Mondraker but the old system with a 625 on the Trek, that...
