    Shimano Di2 integration with Bosch

Thanks. Alfine uses a different engine version if I found that properly. However since then I've found the following scheme (image 2 below) in the Shimano manual for the EW-EX010. It seems that all wiring from the Di2 (rear deraileur and shifter) should go to the EW-EX010 (Image 1) which is then...

    Shimano Di2 integration with Bosch

I love how the Di2 works and I would like to install the Di2 system on my new Bosch ebike. Do you have any experience with that? What I need particularly is to connect the Di2 to the Bosch battery to avoid additional battery for the Di2 only. I've got a full Di2 set in my previous Shimano Steps...

Shimano BT-E8035 Integrated Battery Issue: very fast degrading and loss of range

@electricbogaloo No I don't store it that way. 60-80% for storing always. Full charge only before a ride.

Shimano BT-E8035 Integrated Battery Issue: very fast degrading and loss of range

The only tip regarding the first time use in the Shimano manual is "The battery cannot be used at the time of purchase. Before riding, be sure to fully charge the battery". Nothing else regarding any special treatment like the two times depleting (mambo-jumbo?). Besides I have no chance to store...

Shimano BT-E8035 Integrated Battery Issue: very fast degrading and loss of range

Thanks @nosenada for sharing your experience. I'll go for a ride today and try to deplete the battery in the trial and boost mode and observe the health status change. This is inconceivable to have 8% less range just after two cycles.

Shimano BT-E8035 Integrated Battery Issue: very fast degrading and loss of range

I've bought a brand new BT-E8010 battery due to the degradation of my previous one, but it seems the new one is going to be the World's fastest degrading accu ever. Here are the battery info from STUnlocker read yesterday just after my ride: It dropped 8% of health just after 2 cycles! During...

    Going mullet on Mondraker

Haha :-) Is the Bullit any better? It's Shimano motor and the spec seems to be so-so regarding price.

Have you maybe experimented with the 27.5 on Crafty and if so what's your opinion.

    New Shimano FW update E8000 - 4.9.0, E7000/E6100 - 4.6.0, E5000 - 4.4.2

Not exactly by safety reasons. The law (for example the following directive regarding speedometers EUR-Lex - 32000L0007 - EN - EUR-Lex) requires that speedometers don't indicate speeds lower than the actual. Due to this enforcement cars manufacturers calibrate their speedometers to have a...

    New Shimano FW update E8000 - 4.9.0, E7000/E6100 - 4.6.0, E5000 - 4.4.2

Yes I know. Do you know why?

    New Shimano FW update E8000 - 4.9.0, E7000/E6100 - 4.6.0, E5000 - 4.4.2

Why do you assume that my tire size is not X in the real life? I have measured the size and the speed/distance difference is more than the circumference difference between real size and the app circumference. Speed correction is 0% in the app as well. I would understand any difference below 1%...

    Blown Fox 36. Options?

I've got similar opinion as the Lyrik Charger2 owner until I did a serious ride on the FIT4 Fox36. It's perfect. Great support, no hands pain on the same trails. Service is a little more expensive but it's worth this cost.

    New Shimano FW update E8000 - 4.9.0, E7000/E6100 - 4.6.0, E5000 - 4.4.2

5% is a huge difference and gps is not that inaccurate. I have observed different measurements against gps and the difference was never that big. I'm pretty sure that if I mounted a simple odometer using a sensor on a wheel spoke it wouldn't show the same distance as the steps computer. In my...

    New Shimano FW update E8000 - 4.9.0, E7000/E6100 - 4.6.0, E5000 - 4.4.2

So I checked this parameter and it is 2240 mm with 0% speed correction on your app. My rear wheel is 27.5x2.6 so it's 2250 circumference which is about 0.5% difference to the app circumference, but my yesterday ride was 35.4 km on the bike computer and 33.74 on my Garmin GPS. Strava app on my...
