I’ll have to take mine off to double check for that S2 stamp, I notice this one on GBK does show the S2 on it in their pics and actually has the option to purchase it with a chain guide now. Bafang M620 M600 M500 M510 chainring spider BCD104-Greenbikekit.com BBS, ebike batteries, Bafang M620...
Here is mine which was from GBK and fit my chain guide fine. Did not appear to have the S2 writing on it anywhere. Dengfu E82 - M560 750w Build (Was: LightCarbon LCE971)
I’d really like to see one of the larger manufacturers partner up with Bafang on a few bikes, I swear their motors are more reliable than some of the mainstream ones and have had impressive power all along. The M560 has all the power of the Avinox if not even more, and with them now having some...
I actually do have the huge e-bike CushCores in mine, but the lighter casing (Which I didn't necessarily intend to get) makes a difference for sure.
I’ll check for markings, I don’t remember any though. Definitely nothing on the outer face, I’ll have to check on the inside that faces the...
Awesome build, I love that the frame is actually well finished and looks much higher quality than the Dengfu junk I got 😂. The integrated display is a great finish as well, I’m jealous. Really like that it uses an actual Bafang battery too, I don’t trust the no-name batteries even though they’re...
Weird, that one works perfect for me with no rubbing. Wonder what the deal is then. Inconsistent manufacturing in the motor or chain rings? Maybe the chain ring slips onto the motor some different amount between motors and sometimes it just gets too close to the guide. The tolerances are tight...
They're already where they need to be in my opinion, anything under 50lbs for a full power emtb is impressive. I just know there are plenty of lightweight bike snobs who will want to keep pushing the envelope to shave every last gram off weight off.
Full power at SL weight is what the Amflow is pretty much offering, if we continue to move in that direction it'll be impressive for sure and probably help convince more ebike holdouts that claim a heavy bike doesn't ride well or is too cumbersome.
Makes sense then, probably just misuse of the word "transmission" then like you said. The t-type is supposed to be beefier though, right? I always thought that's what the special chain/sprockets were intended to help with (e-bike abuse from shifting/power).
The word transmission has never been used outside of the t-type has it? And isn't that the only "E-MTB" specific drivetrain they have? Seems weird to go out of their way to call it an E-MTB drivetrain and use the word transmission if it's not actually either.
It’s not a cable vs wireless thing though, it’s the mounting type, it pretty clearly seems to be on a regular hanger and not direct mount, which is the big change with the t-type “transmission” which is the word they’re using in the description. I thought that’s what gave it the strength for...
I’m somewhat split on the experience, I love tinkering and knowing the inside out of how something works so I can fix it myself, but don’t like having to order everything from China waiting weeks every time you need a tiny little part and having next to zero documentation on anything. Even the...
I totally agree about not needing more power, at this point it’s just a cool stat on paper. On my 750W M560 I find anything over Trail (Level 2 of 5 which caps it at 500W) is just a silly amount of power for any sort of single track riding except maybe a really steep climb, but even at that...
They are, yes. These tires should have just been sent back when they arrived in the wrong casing but I just kept them because the retailer gave me a big discount to keep them. Wasn’t the best choice in tread, should have gone with something a little skinnier, and probably the wrong compound...
I imagine the delay had to be caused by the DJI release and they quickly went back to the drawing board with Brose to retune the motor to squeeze a little more out of the motor with some new software and/or get a slightly lighter/denser battery design. They must have gotten some leaked info...
A quick update after about 45 miles or so over last week across a few rides. Everything still going great, no issues that I’ve seen at all and bike is a blast to ride. Hopefully my Dengfu battery works with a new CAN cable, although I really have no need for a bigger battery at all, the 720Wh is...
I think they just need to be able to pull a few of the best aspects from each of these different bikes/systems into their own and it’ll be a killer. You don’t need the ludicrous level power of the DJI, but if they get it to be in the 95-100Nm range and roughly 800W peak output range, combined...
For those looking for a better rear axle, the 180mm SRAM Maxle worked perfect on my UDH frame. 12x148, 180mm 1.0 pitch is what you want on the UDH triangle. I think the 174 would probably grab the threads but not have much overlap. 177 or so would probably be ideal, but there was still enough...
Did a quick ride yesterday and again today between work meetings, I have about 14 miles on the bike now and love it. Such a massive upgrade from my alloy hardtail with 100mm of travel
The M560 has silly amounts of power, I've found it to be perfect on Trail mode (Level 2/5) where it peaks...
