I think you need to read this thread:
Volspeed tuning box for Bosch gen 4 - EMTB Forums
I read all of it. I also just ordered the Volspeed. There's a risk, for sure, but a lot of people have no problems.
For mine, I'm actually fairly annoyed it's such a pain for me to take an ebike beyond...
Love to hear some thoughts on how it rides with the extended battery on..? For my use case it would be for extended shuttling when I got to parks/large trails further away - as opposed to for epic rides. So downhill handling would be important. Would it be worthwhile for this use case do you think?
Nah, I was getting defensive on my behalf :)
When he said:
I really took that as joking, pre-empting the impending "learn to ride". Maybe not, and if so, fair call.
No need to get defensive about my getting defensive though... :)
Yeah it's question I guess of how much ACTUAL insertion my bike has. It's supposed to be 10mm less than the carbon, which means if it has the same deviation from the spec as yours does, I'd still have 20mm poking out, and I don't think that's going to be optimal for me. I'll rip mine out and...
I lol at the "learn to ride like me, clearly I'm superior" purist mentality people get about short cranks. Reminiscent of the anti-ebike argument really isn't it? :)
I like short cranks because I want to just keep spinning up ludicrous stuff that just can't be done any other way. And I don't...
Aaargh it doesn't make sense... that 180mm dropper in Mteam's pic shouldn't go in that far according to the Orbea dimensions for the bike and the OneUp dimensions for the post :)
I'm on an alum frame, and I'm actually more concerned about getting it slammed at the bottom than I am about correct...

It's funny after a lot of SRAM NX/GX/XO bikes, along with Codes/Guide RE brakes, I finally tried a full Shimano XT setup on my previous bike, a Knolly Fugitive, and I loved it. I found it really easy to get laser sharp shifting and it just stayed there, no fiddling. I found braking really...
I got it today!
Sorry for the thread hijack OP :) I made a new post: Happy NDB to me - Orbea Wild FS H10 - EMTB Forums
I don't think I have any reach issues. Might change with time as I get used to it, and I'm yet to do big fast stuff, but I love it so far - we'll see I guess :)
Picked up my Wild FS H10 this afternoon, size Large (I'm 181cm). I had a fair amount of trepidation about sizing and the Orbea not following the current trend of long reach, but after actually riding it on the trail (vs car park tests), I'm really happy with it. I only had chance for a quick 90...
All right, I went back to the shop and parking lot tested again. I'm going with the Large. Leaning it right down under me and carving tight circles on concrete was about the best I could do, and I think longer would make that harder. Brisbane trails are a lot of that kind of stuff. I'm sure at...
I might head back to the shop today and have another look and a roll around, see what else they have to compare. I know they have Jam2's there and that was on my hit list but I don't like the DPS and it seems like choices to replace it are limited.
Haha in the comments of that vid:
Great video. I’ve pre-ordered a 2021 Wild FS largely on the strength of this review. I’m 5ft 11 & cannot choose between a L & XL. I’m worried about the short reach on the large, but don’t want an overly long bike for the tight trails I spend 90% of my time...
The Loam Wolf's review, is quite glowing, and definitely highlights the bike as what I'm after, reach wise as well.

Still freaking a little about it though lol. I would HATE to need to put a longer stem in. But I don't care...
The XL actually wouldn't work for me because of the seat tube height - I'd be on a horribly short dropper and have a seat in my backside over jumps, down steeps etc. I actually do agree the ebike is inherently more stable, for sure. I'd love to try different reaches on the same bike back to back...
