Not being funny but you've definitely done something wrong, the Sram instructions will get you perfect chain length if followed exactly. Not got pictures to upload but the cage should hang just below horizontal when in smallest cog, if the cage is all the way up it can't provide any tension. If...
To me this just highlights that most of these systems are not fit for purpose, thats why I went with a spesh, so I can use my emtb like a normal mtb, no need to invent special stuff to fix a problem that shouldn't exist anyway.
All I want from a display is how much battery I've got left! Id sooner see them finish the existing bikes properly and sort out a proper LH cable exit on the alloy bikes!!! Specialized rider care are you listening??
its a shame you cant rename them, then you could have 'feelin goood', 'shouldn't have had that extra pie' and ' get me home quick that pie was definately dodgy' settings.
I would do a lower leg service and air can at least. Check the bearings as well, I've just had mine all done at a little over 2500km, and the shop said there were definitely at least 3 that were FUBAR.
Personally I'd go with Exposure all the way for that price difference, quality and customer service should you get issues are second to none. Plus its not all about the quoted lumens, (real measured lumens is usually very different) its more about the spread!
I would imagine its fairly easy to find out if its been derestricted, most systems record speed and distance travelled at all times, so if you ride over the limit a lot its gonna notice!
Never bother just whack in some more every 6 months or so, to this day I am disappointed to say I have never found a Stans monster in fifteen years running tubeless, what am I doing wrong??
As a big boy myself, definitely up those pressures. Carbon rims will seem to be faring better but if they do go its gonna be catastrophic and no amount of warranty will get you out of A&E any quicker!!
Bit late as well, but I tried Thule and didnt get on with it so sold it with the car. Replaced it with an Atera rack, 2/3 the price, slides away from car rather than tilting (tilt doesnt give enough room to open my trucks rear door) and all the plastic coated straps wrap around wheels and frame...
The issue is the trade off, a FF bike can never handle the same as a lighter bike, so if you don't need the 'power' why carry it round? You wouldn't carry a full 4 litre water bladder on a one hour ride even if you can control your bladder!!
