Has anyone had to replace the rear shock bush on their 2021 e-sommet? It's a RockShox Super Deluxe Select shock. I've got a wee bit of play, noticeable when you pic bike up by the seat. The bushings arent shown on the exploded diagram drawing on the Vitus technical support documents. Save me...
Anyone else burn through a chain and 2 bottom sprockets in 100 miles? ?. Why they insist on putting 12 speed on an emtb is beyond me. I was changing the individual sprockets in my 2019 e sommet along with the chain but can't get the sprockets online for the new style multispline cassettes. I...
Update for those still looking. The VRS came back in stock today at 0730 I had email notification set up and managed to get one. All sold out now though. See below for future stock updates. I'm still looking for a VRX but took a VRS in case its weeks for the VRX is in...

17 days after they picked it up CRC have came back and have said it cannot be saved. They've offered a full refund and 30% off another bike. Cannot fault them. Now just need the E-Sommet VRX to come in stock
Don't think I would be comfortable giving it full send on a repaired frame. If CRC aren't able to help I'll pick up a second hand e-sommet, utilise what bits I need, then sell the rest and probably won't be much worse off. There's a 2019 in Northern Ireland just now for 2250 which I would have...
If anyone knows of someone breaking a 2019 e-sommet please let me know. Bent my rear chainstay.
Does anyone know if the 2018/2019/2020 e-sommet frames are the same? Could I use the chainstay from a 2018/2020?
Having the same issue myself I'm pretty certain it's a failing torque sensor. Haven't seen the power bar go above 50% in a long time and I'm getting loads more miles out of a charge. Funnily enough my average heart rate has about doubled on rides?. No noticeable differance when switching between...
I have the Fenix 6x and love it but if its purely for using on your bike I would go with one of the bike specific garmins. The watch isn't ideal when you're hurtling down a trail and need to check when to make a turn. I use my watch in conjunction with komoot on my phone mounted to handlebars...
The system calculates the speed based on the pickup (speed) sensor which looks at your wheel or disc. The system does not care what chainring you have installed.
Yes they could use the cadence to calculate the speed but as you say the system would need to know which gear you were in at the rear...
Funnily enough the motor gets the speed from the SPEED sensor it doesn't care what chainring is installed. Lot's of people increase the size of the front chainring not decrease. What's your reason?
I ordered my e8010 battery from them which came within 2 weeks. I wouldn't think twice about ordering again. They were at least £50 cheaper than anywhere else too
