Ok, thanks for the help guys. I was a bit hesitant because of the EX1, but I guess I'll give it a try.

Well, apparently the Race Fox is still in stock in all sizes and with a 4% discount. Other than the fork and shock, the rest of the components are pretty similar to the 2019 Essencial, but the 2019 comes with Eagle GX 12 speed instead of EX1. Hard to know which one to choose.

Ok, sounds like you guys can't wait to replace your EX1 system by another one. In that case, why do you feel that it's worth to pay 300€ more for the Race Fox over the 2019 Essential? Is it the rear shock? The wheelset? The Brakes?

I'm waiting for funds to order a Meta Power and I'm hesitating between the 2018 Race Fox, and the 2019 Essential. The Race Fox is really appealing, but I'm hesitant because of the EX1. What is your overall experience with it?

Ok guys, thanks a lot for the tips. Strangely enough there's very little information about correct charging procedures on manufacturers' and ebike websites.

So, if I understand you correctly, if I average a ride a week, the correct charging procedure should be: after the ride charge the battery only up to 30-60%, store the battery for the week and then, the night before the next ride, charge it to 100%? Seems pretty strange :unsure:

Perhaps it's a stupid question, but what happens if I forget my battery plugged to the charger in the garage for a few days? Do I risk damaging it?

My current stem is the Alpha 50mm. It's basically the same that comes on the Meta Power. Do you mean that I can basically choose the frame size that suits my preference and then adjust the reach through a longer or shorter stem?

Hello from Portugal. I'm currently riding a Commençal Meta AM V4 non e-bike and am seriously considering purchasing the Commençal Meta Power (same geometry, same travel,...). My question is: should I keep my Meta V4 or, once you start using the e-bike you tend to forget about non e-bikes?
