Yes. I didn't have enough carbon fiber to make it 100% carbon. I did 2 layers of carbon fibre on the outside and 2 layers of glass fibre on the inside. After 24h curing at room temperature I "cooked" for 2h at 150°C in my kitchen oven. It's rock solid now ?

Thanks Craig. Do you think there is a noticeable difference in strength between the DT Swiss XM521 and the e13 trs+? The difference in price is minimal, but the effective rim diameter is slightly bigger in the XM521 (6mm) and I would like to use the same spokes.

Thanks Slowroller. You confirm my suspicions. I guess I'll just buy a new rim and take it to a shop to mount a new wheel with the same hub and spokes. I wonder if an insert like CushCore would have helped save the rim from an impact like this.

Just bought a couple of tubeless valves to convert to Tubeless. The E13 TRS wheels come mounted with a nice looking tape inside. Anyone can confirm if I can convert the wheels to tubeless as they are or do I need to add any extra tape? Also, what volume of sealant should I add for the 2.5 tyres?
