I would suggest you measure your BB to saddle rail. Then measure your max insert depth. Then get yourself onto the OneUp site and check the table. The Kenevo has pretty poor insert depth unfortunately, at least in the smaller sizes.
Hi Karen. I live in Inners and my other half and I often e-bike after work during the week (regular bikes at weekends). Give us a shout if you're looking for riding pals.
😭 I really wish there was a better alternative. However, my e-bike rides are from my door, so I prefer to carry the absolute minimum and generally I don't ride the e-bike more than 2 hours, so I don't need too much water. I'm just going to buy it and hopefully it's not junk!
Did some experimenting with a couple of different cages. Unfortunately I don't think any regular diameter cage will fit under the coil. Think I will just buy the stupid YT one.
Dhx2 back from fixed. Fixed under warranty no questions asked. Very happy to have it back, I love this bike! Took 2 of the three tokens out of the fork and it's so much better now for the stuff I ride.
The width of the hardware will depend on the frame and the diameter on the shock model, but most seem to run 12.7mm (J-TECH HD Mount Kit 1/2"). Check out J-Tech or TF Tuned. They have good info on their site and are always really helpful if you give them a call. For spring length, the...
Just offering an opinion based on my experience. Your points seem perfectly valid, but the truth is that there are lots of happy Magura customers out there who don't wreck their brakes by stripping threads.
Anyway, I'm out. I was just trying to offer friendly advice.
Anyway, not much point in arguing about it. If you've had bad experiences with something, then of course it's going to colour your opinion. For instance, my experience with hope brakes has been universally terrible, but clearly many people love them!
Re the lever blades, that's 100% your personal opinion and of course I'm not going to try and tell you otherwise. Saying plastic isn't the right material is pretty arbitrary though. In my experience there's no appreciable downside compared to alloy. Maybe my experience differs from others, but...
Personally, I would not use hoses for DOT fluid brakes with brakes that needed mineral oil.
I also wouldn't bother with MT7 and would go for MT5. I'm not convinced the are worth the extra money. As above, Magura can be both tricky to bleed and to centre calipers. However, they are still the...
It has definitely made me fitter as I'm now riding at least twice as much. I still ride my regular bike both days at the weekend, but now I do at least 2x25km / 1000m rides after work as well.
This makes me glad I live where I do. Basically, all the trails and require almost no pedaling, so on trail I am never aware of hitting the limiter. I can imagine if you had really fast and flatter trails it could get quite frustrating.
I do occasionally. I prefer not to with friends, as then you're all suffering together (and I get a proper effort in), but that's the only real drawback.
I have a 38 Performance and a 38 Factory. I found on both that the Fox recommended pressures were around 5psi too high, but that the recommendations for rebound and compression were pretty good. As above, I would start with just 1 or no tokens and the recommended settings, then ride and see if...
