Levo Gen 3 Fox 36 Rhythm swap

I'm really confused. Why would you need to remove the headset? Just take one fork out and replace the other. They will have the same diameter steerer. The only thing you'll need to swap is crown race, but that can be easily removed with a screwdriver. If it's not split just split it with a saw...

    Pole Voima 190mm Travel EMTB

I saw not one, but TWO Voimas in the space of about 3 minutes while walking home from the shop on Sunday. Common as muck! :ROFLMAO:

Megawatt Factory vs Bullit XT Air vs YT Decoy MX 4

I have a 2022 YT Decoy Shred 1: What’s your size and weight? 171cm / 80kg riding weight. I ride a medium decoy. On paper, the numbers don't really make sense (my main bike is a P2 Privateer 161) but the Decoy is an absolute riot to ride. It's possibly the best cornering bike i've ever...

Levo Gen 3 Fox 36 Rhythm swap

Why would you need a bearing puller? Fork swap should be a very easy at home job. I wouldn't worry about damaging it at all, unless you are absolutely enormous.

    Broken chain on the trail.

Didn't realize they were so small

    Broken chain on the trail.

Would you carry those on a ride though?

    Broken chain on the trail.

You can open a quick link with a shoelace, but I would probably carry a mini quick link tool if I was doing an epic. Shoelace is last resort! There are lots of small quick link tools, mostly combined with tyre levers, or as above, in an EDC.

Body Armor for Women? Leatt Womens Airflex Body Protector? What do you wear?

No experience of the Leatt one, but my partner wears a Fox Raceframe and finds it really comfortable. It's the smaller size, she is around 5ft 4 and 140lbs. She generally wears it over her jersey whenever we are doing any kind of uplifted riding.

    Cooler for YT Decoy Charger

Not aware of mine getting hot. I'll have to check next time it's charging!

    Plugged maxxis tyre

I've run tyres for months with several plugs in with no issues. Patching from the inside sounds like a sensible plan though.

Kenevo SL PSI with cushcores on SL bikes?

Ft Bill is absolutely legendary for killing wheels. It's not really a typical scenario. I'm about 80kg (175) kitted up and get on well with around 20/21F 23/24R. My local trails are not very rocky and tend to be steep and slippery. In poor conditions I might drop as low as 18/20. For...

    Effect of 29 inch wheels

Pretty pointless comparing different bikes based on wheel size. Geo will make more difference. Personally I think the difference between 27 and 29 is often vastly exaggerated. 29ers can be fun and playful, 27 can be dull and lifeless. There is way more at work that just the size of the wheels.

Levo Gen 2 Magura adapter question

Also bear in mind it's not just vertical height, but offset. The 43mm adaptors I run look no taller than the 23s, but the offset is different.

Levo Gen 2 Magura adapter question

Just get correct sized adaptors from galfer. They are very cheap.

What mud guards are you using, if any?

I've had good results with the bolt on RRP and the official Fox ones. I would avoid cable ones where possible. I was so meticulous about invisiframing my lyrik and it still bloody rubbed through the paint. The crud guard XL is probably the most effective one I've ever used, but it makes an...
