Picked up a Kenevo and had some coaching

I mounted a 160 lyrik on my '18 levo this weekend. Feels very different. The revelation isn't as smooth through the stroke in comparison. The lyrik has a very progressive silky feel as it progresses through the stroke.

Levo cuts out at 17mph (27kph)

I believe you are correct. The work around allows the app to increase the wheel size beyond the original options in the app.

Levo cuts out at 17mph (27kph)

Do a google search and you'll find a youtube video on how to get rid of the cut out. Best mod so far, the cutting out was annoying.

    Levo vs Kenevo

It's not a huge cost to upgrade if I remember correctly. $50?

    The best EMTB of 2018

Impressive result by the bulls. Still not sure how it would do on resale outside of California.

    Levo vs Kenevo

Thanks for the information. Wife is getting a levo comp (if the local dealer can ever get one) so I may experiment with this to get her some comfort.

    Specialized levo

Main limitation on the base is the fork when pushed hard. A dropper post and a lyrik or pike fork and you've got a lot of bike for the money. Selling all of our normal bikes. Impossible to go back once you're on the juice.

    Levo vs Kenevo

Just ordered up a 160 lyrik for the levo. Revelation is good but not great on initial comfort in the stroke.

What are your initial impressions of the kenevo?

    Levo vs Kenevo

Curious to see if they go carbon on the Kenevo next year. I wonder if a 160mm or 170 front and back with an air shock would give it more pop and make it not feel so much like a bulldozer. It seems the Kenevo is past what an enduro is and is somewhere between an enduro and demo. I could be way off.

    Mission Control now not working

I had to do the same thing to register my bike. Register online, then login to app.

Anybody ridden 2017 turbo levo AND 2018 turbo levo

For those interested I had the dealer take out the tubes before I picked it up. I weighed them and they came out to 1.6lbs. If you were really a weight freak you could toss the SWAT tool for maybe 4oz. I added carbon bars for vibration otherwise stock. It felt much lighter than a 2017. Could be...

Anybody ridden 2017 turbo levo AND 2018 turbo levo

I had the chance to test a 2017 levo comp vs my 2018 comp carbon. It was a much bigger difference than I expected. The motor was very yo yo on the 2017 and seemed to lose steam as the day went on. From reading it sounds like you need to keep high cadence or the '17 motor cuts out is the issue...

Specialized Turbo Levo vs Kenevo Review, my demo day

Thanks for the review. I haven't ridden the kenevo but had a chance to test a 2017 levo comp vs my 2018 comp carbon. It was a much bigger difference than I expected. The motor was very yo yo on the 2017 and seemed to lose steam as the day went on. Pedal strikes were an issue also the fatter 3.0...

    Levo vs Kenevo

Do you find you get less "pop" from the coil shock? Only coiled bike I've ridden is my demo 8 which has zero pop in the rear but of course will bulldoze whatever you point it at.

    Levo vs Kenevo

Now to just find a good deal...it looks like $600 w/o coil is the going rate on an ohlins.

Your preconceived reasons for choosing an emtb?

I'm at elevation in Colorado Springs and have a variety of hobbies so I never reach killer bike fitness. Suffering 60% of the ride no longer appealed to me so I made the leap. I really don't care if people think I'm cheating. I'm not racing anyone and just want to have fun. I now have fun 100%...

    Levo vs Kenevo

Nice work! I've been kicking around the idea of getting a ohlins coil for the rear.
