Change flip chip to lower position and get yourself a decent fork that doesn’t flex like crazy and ideally get a 160 fork. 25-30% sag in the rear and stiffer up front so your fork doesn’t dive. You want the head angle to be slacker, not steeper.
Agreed I've ridden both also. I own the '19 Levo and test rode the SL (Around the block not on a trail) and they are completely different. The SL is so much lighter that the less powerful motor isn't that far off of the full fat on flat surfaces. I was surprised how much kick the motor had for...
It sure seems moisture is a huge factor in system failure. With the UK being a hot spot for e bikes I can't help but wonder what the breakdown is between wet climate vs dry climate failure.
Keep playing with the pressure. You can go a lot lower than that if you have good tires with a stiff sidewall. I run cushcore so I do 18 up front and 20 in the rear. Pre cushcore I was at 20-22.
I noticed on the USA website specialized has some models that are marked down and rebates.
S works has a $1500 rebate and expert $413 on top of already marked down prices!
What does this mean?
New levo coming soon?
SL sales are killing normal levo sales
Or just a coronavirus sale to move some...
Curious if anyone has heard rumors of any changes. Trying to decide if I should upgrade the wife's '18 now or wait until the fall when the '21 comes out.
I like the punch my normal Levo provides so I am staying put but damn 10lbs is a lot! Looking forward to a lighter full juice motor with smaller/lighter battery options. Although I'm glad to have a 700wh after toasting my 500wh battery in about 8 miles on a super demanding ride in NM.
I would keep what you have if you enjoy the fast speeds. Once my wife and I tasted the Turbo 2 years ago we haven't looked back and just laugh about the thought of using lower support levels unless you need to extend the range. The extra weight isn't all bad. It makes the bike feel more stable...
Seems pretty simple. If you're mostly an eco guy the SL makes total sense. If you want to blast trails as fast as possible keep your normal levo. Living in Colorado with crazy climbs I want all the torque and battery as possible.
I think the SL will be able to convert the die hards that have...
I still own my Ktm 350 but I ride my Levo waaay more often. Not the same adrenaline rush but It can be close if you find some nice trails. Trail access and being able to ride with the wife are the main reasons for the switch. I get enough of a rush to fill the need to dirt bike. E biking has...
Good point tweaks can always be made. I've gone with taller bars. With an e bike I don't need the leverage lower bars gives you. I would rather have a more confident feel on the downhills and give up some climbing leverage. I really don't stand going up hills while pedaling anyway.
