Great! I was hoping I was going to get lucky and not have the issue. Good to know everyone is getting it fixed under warranty though, I will get in touch with my LBS tomorrow and see what they want to do. Hopefully they can be proactive about getting it sorted rather than waiting for a complete...
Question for you guys who have had this issue...
On my E+1 I have started to notice that when I'm in the hardest, or second hardest gear and I'm putting a fair amount of power through the drive train, usually when starting from a stationary position, I get a clunk, similar to the feeling you...
I have no issues with the standard control unit, the five power modes offer assistance for various uses, cruising along cycle paths in 1 or 2, and then pop it in 3 for the hills. 4 and 5 are just crazy fun, the acceleration is mad.
I don't bother with displaying speed/range via a phone, after a...
I struggled with the standard saddle but others seem to get on with fine. Very subjective things.
Can be a fairly cheap part to replace if you don't like it.
I love my E+1, the GX chain set changes gear so nicely. Don't know why but during my last couple of rides I have really noticed just...
Do you mean ''Tyres''? If so, yeah the back is wearing down pretty quick. The front is fine but when i compare my back tyre to my wife's, who doesn't do as much road riding as me, then yeah there is a significant difference.
I am not sure if i should go to a different compound when I need to...
The Trance 0 SX Pro offers the Kashmia coating, but yeah i think you lose out on the electronic shifting. Here is a review to have a read of anyway...
First ride review: Giant Trance E+ 0 SX Pro - Giant introduces new eMTB‑generation | E-MOUNTAINBIKE Magazine
I have not ridden the Fathom but my wife has an E+3 and its a very capable bike. I use my E+1 for a 36km (round trip) commute, cycle paths the whole way. I would probably be happy enough to do it on a hard tail but on the weekends I like to do trail riding and having a FS for that is a must for...
If you are looking at the Merida then definitely look at the Giant Trance E range, for me it came down to a choice between those two and in the end i picked the Giant... mainly due to the integrated battery look :) I dont regret my decision one bit
Haha yes, they did take a picture of us but I havn't seen it. That's good to know that it would have been done. I might double check with the guy I dealt with
ah ok, I didnt get that option and didnt even think to ask about it. I will deflate a tyre and take a look. I have never had tubeless before so if i do deflate the tyre and pull it away from the rim, am I running the risk of a load of stuff leaking out if it is tubeless already?
Hi Guys,
Can anyone confirm if the Trance E+1 and E+3 come with tubeless tyres from the factory? I see they are ''Tubeless Ready'' but not sure if they are tubeless from factory or not.
Cheers
