Not true of you are careful and know what you are doing. I cut the line, routed it through (which was really easy on this bike), and just did a 30 second top bleed to try and remove any air pockets that may have formed. Did nearly 15k’ of descending this weekend on the Zees and they worked...
Prices will fluctuate plus or minus $20. If you do some searching, you can usually find them for around $110 per brake. I like universal Cycles listed first in my screenshot below. They ship super quick and half a ton in stock.
The last time I ran Codes was right when they came out on my 2018 Enduro. They lasted 4 or 5 rides and I switched to Zees that I ran all the way up until purchasing the Decoy. I decided to sell my previous bike with the Zees and give the Codes a second chance. This time they lasted 2 rides...
Big ride today. Two full batteries. First was only eco and trail. Second was trail and boost. Ran out of batteries about 0.25miles from the top on last lap, luckily my friend had more juice and was able to give me a push in the back.
Yeah, I took my motor off my bike before I even rode it. One thing to note is there are a few cables without much slack, so be careful when dropping the motor you don’t rip those out of their connections. It’s really a horrible design that you cannot disconnect the main power cable before you...
Yes. There is a big thread on these forums about it. I think it’s under the shimano section, but can’t remember.
Just search “shimano” on the garmin App Store and it should pop up if your device is compatible. Not all garmin watches are for some reason.
Edit: Also the creator of the app uses...
It is the Vivoactive 3 Music. On sale for under $200 on the garmin website. Does everything my Apple Watch and Garmin 520 did before I believe. Only concern is battery life while using the gps mode, but we shall see how that goes once I get more time with it.
Saying a brake is good because it won an EWS race isn’t a good example. All the top pros that have a shot at winning do not get to choose which brakes then run, they will run whatever brand their team is sponsored by. With very few exceptions.
Look like cool brakes though. But at $650 USD it’s...
Looks like we are gonna have to agree to disagree ok this one. I have ridden mullet bikes in the past, and didn’t like the way they handled.
And I am not part of the older crowd that just wanted a budget levo. I bought my full 29 so I could do more laps on the gnarliest trails I can find. If I...
Shimano Zees.
Need to shorted the shifter cable and the dropper cable housing. Thing is a mess right now. But will do that once I get my new fork. Until then, it will just be spaghetti.
