Glad you are relatively ok mate, the bike isn’t too bad and you are in good spirits about it all!
As others have said, try not to over analyse everything. Just accept it happens and move on otherwise it’ll be a demon that’s hard to shake.
I learnt that a long time ago crashing bikes on track ...
every car or motorbike is capable of speeding. Which is illegal. Which leads to accidents and causes many many deaths
the manufacturers don’t get prosecuted....
not entirely the same scenario granted. But it’s similar
responsibility should and does imo fall on the individual....
appreciate it’s not just the rims that are needed, but the agg factor of changing tyres all the time would soon wear thin with me.
I’ve never had a puncture since going tubeless, not sure why you would then need a tube?
personally, I’d just pick the tyres most suited for most of my riding and...
But lightweight tyre + tannus + tube is probably heavier than an DD casing which offers better protection from tears. And unlikely to get punctures?
the exo+ lighter still and more than likely to give enough protection
if you are running tubeless upfront with no issues then why not the rear...
that’s the problem, anything remotely rocky and fast = punctures with tubes in my experience
if I was that bothered about optimum tyres for conditions I’d get a cheap set of wheels for XC rides and swap the lot
to be fair, first white s-works levo i see, dude is getting dragged off it!!
guess the only compensation is he will have a 2020 Comp to get himself home on! ha
you’d think so, but whenever friends have tried to hire one at bedgebury to join me on a spin, they are always booked out in the mornings. Granted weekend peak times.
But some days they must be getting 2 or more hires I’d say
£60 for 2hrs soon adds up.
I’d say that generally people that hire...
Because in the uk we don’t have the issues of e bike vs bike like in the US or other places.
and if you are recoding rides in e ride. As for segments, I only care about my previous times. As I know they are comparable (ish) to me.
it’s cool to see how that stacks up against other e bikes. But...
Wow, that’s bad. Spent a bit of time in the cape over the years and whilst you always fell like you need to keep your wits about you, it’s never felt dangerous like that imo, I didn’t think it’d got that bad. Not been In a few years though I must admit ?
And when I go to record e-ride. My setting are default to auto pause...
I did change this to auto pause ride and not walk as apparently this makes a difference ??♂️
perhaps I should put it back on auto pause run...
Yeah i've messed about with the settings but when i'm on e-ride the elapsed and moving time is always the same. And I know on the rides i've checked i'd stopped so for me, it's not been auto pausing.
for example see below. I know a stopped a few times on that ride...
