I’d try and get a new freehub body, it should slide right back on,, you’ll need to take the cassette off the old one first. Make sure that it’s all tight when the wheel is fitted as it looks like this has been coming loose for a while by the signs of the damage.
Yes the bikes will start arriving at the end of January, your bike shop should be keeping you up to date on date changes. Also Cube have bumped up the prices since people placed their order, so it may cost you £100 more.
Warning, shameless plug. But on a semi serious note, if you’re planning on getting a new 2022 ebike order it now. I work for the electric bike shop in Sutton Coldfield. we stock Cube, Haibike, Moustache etc. if you want the new Bosch eco system (700w battery and kiox 300) then put your deposit...
I work in the industry and these dates are real …ish. Cube have done a lot of work to ensure that the bikes they have solid orders for get delivered when they say they will. However a closure of one of the Bosch battery factories due to Covid, may cause a speed bump. The back order for full...
Hi fellow ebikers, this is a shameless plug for the bike shop I work for. It‘s the electric bike shop, URL attached.
https://www.theelectricbikeshop.co.uk/
we have a good stock of cubes and some Haibikes. If you fancy a touring, hybrid or commuter bike than check out the shop, we’re all over...
You won’t be disappointed with the cube, you get good spec for the money, the new battery and eco system are impressive. What’s not to love. Question, where are you getting it from?
Looks well priced, I’d be curious why the person is selling after just 6 rides. But I’m an old sceptic. Just confirm that the motor is ok. And enjoy the bike. You’ll also have more power than your sons 85nm, you’ll have 90.
I just explain to the customer that it’s not mandatory, it’s just a reminder to look after your bike. You’ll be gobsmacked how many people don’t even pump up the tyres or oil the chain when they come in. also remember the first service, well safety check is free.
The shop set this mileage, we do 175 miles for your first complimentary safety service then we set the computer to remind you at 1500 miles. Other LBS’ may differ. You can ride past this, it’s just a politer reminder to make sure your bike is in tip top condition.
