Electric bikes stolen from the Lakes Hotel and Spa in Bowness

INVESTIGATION: Cube 500 bikes were stolen from the Lakes Hotel and Spa.
AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after £40,000 worth of electric bikes were stolen from a hotel.
Police are appealing for information following a burglary at the Lakes Hotel and Spa, in Kendal Road, Bowness, in the early hours of October 28.
According to Cumbria police an unknown suspect or suspects removed eleven high value electric bikes from a shed on the grounds of the hotel.
The bikes are all “Cube 500” electric bikes worth a total of £40,000.
A force spokesman said: “Officers are appealing for anyone with any information or if anyone has been offered these bikes for sale to contact the police.
“Anyone with information relating to this incident can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/reportit, quoting incident number 110 of 28th October 2021 for the attention of DC Pearman. You can also phone on 101.
