Some of the yam bikes don’t have yam batteries, this is why the Sw can’t read them and reports an error. This is normal, the battery probably isn’t faulty, just a limitation of the SW
The Sw is programmed to a specific crank length so maybe a chat with your LBS. It may need cube to alter some parameters so it doesn’t upset the puter. I know some people have trouble when they change their chainring, as the revelations of the crank aren’t what it’s expecting so it shuts down.
I’d measure them by inside diameter X outside diameter x dearth then use the imperial measure across the top. And do a search on INA bearings. They look like standard headset bearings. But lookout for the bevel on the outside one them, they’re usually 35 or 45 degrees.
Well I have the Orbea 2021 wild M team, and I love it. In saying that, all these bikes are good so you’ll not be disappointed, I’d personally factor in support, from a LBS if things go south. And they do from time to time.
I’m led to believe the battery is the same but the end plates are interchangeable, makes sense that Bosch makes one battery and just changes the end plates to make them vertical and horizontal.
Question - can you convert a Bosch PowerTube 625 from horizontal to vertical?
I can find the end plate for the lock end of the battery but I’m struggling with the connector end.
Bosch don’t do refurbished batteries (well they don’t in the uk) the LBS may have replaced it with different used one, but if it’s new it’ll have very few if any charge cycles on the print out from the diagnostics. Ask you LBS for a print out of the diagnostics.
None of the new smart system eco system components are compatible with the older system. It runs new SW and hardware In some cases. So I’d upgrade the Purion with the kiox.
I’m usually driving Miss daisy at circa 60 ish, I don’t do very long journeys with the bike attached, and if I did I wouldn’t care about range. The model three does over 350/tank so if I drop some range due to the rack ill not be worried, just plug it in when I get home and it’s costs £3 to charge.
