    Bike Fit Recommendations

Hi, A few years back I started riding again MTBs. I followed manufacturers recommendations based on my height (177cm) and ended up buying a Mindraker Foxy in size L with a very long reach (I think it was 470mm). Initially all was good but when I started to ride a bit “better” I had a problem on...

    DMR Vault delusion

For sake of documentation, I did not need to do a full service on my Vault pedals. I simply did a clean&regrease without any replacement. All creaking and squeaking gone. They were dirty inside. Clearly the riding in mud and rainy weather showed the weakness of these pedals when it comes to...

    Analog MTB VS Light E-MTB

Not in my case. That is why I am thinking to buy a light ebike as a replacement of the analogue MTB. My full fat goes to turbo only when I am completely exhausted after a full day of climbing. And I decreased the levels of support both in Eco and Trail compared to how they come stock :) So at...

    Analog MTB VS Light E-MTB

I don't really think is unrealistic. Internet is plenty of builds with Levo SL Frameset at around 16.5Kg. And BTW I am looking for a trail bike, so no need for big tyres and huge suspension travel ;)

    Analog MTB VS Light E-MTB

Thanks for your feedback. Thing is that I have the Turbo Levo which is around 21Kg. I would like to go much lower than that. In fact I was thinking at the Levo SL frameset (the old one). According to my calculation I should be able to complete the build at around 17Kg, which is not so far from...

    Analog MTB VS Light E-MTB

Hello! I own a full fat Turbo Levo and an analog (15+Kg) All Mountain MTB. I am seriously thinking to swap my standard MTB with a light e-mtb. Reason: I would like to have a small assistance from the the motor but more or less the same playfulness of an analog bike. The only doubt is if it is...

    DMR Vault delusion

Indeed, I am reading the same on multiple forums, so at least I am not alone. Next pair of pedals (in the very far future) will be Nukeproof also for me. It seems Horizon model is good from serviceability.

    DMR Vault delusion

Yeah, found the kit, going to buy it indeed. Thanks for the link. But really… this is very disappointing. Just a couple of muddy rides and already a service? First pair of pedals having such behavior. Maybe they got worse over years? No idea. Or maybe just bad luck.

    DMR Vault delusion

After just 500km and a few rides in wet and mud I already need to do maintenance on my DMR Vault pedals... left pedal is creaking and right pedal squeaking. I am quite disappointed :( Anybody else having same experience?

Levo Gen 3 Recommend me a water bottle - Zee cage, Levo Comp Alloy, S3

I second that. Fidlock is the way to go. On the s3 I use a 450ml bottle. Not sure if a bigger one fits to he honest.

Looking for some user experiences with brakes..

I have this setup and I have no issues of rotors rubbing the pads. However I had to align the brake pistons because one side was coming out much more than the other.

Levo Gen 2 Levo Comp 2020 - Considering an upgrade from Guide RE to Code RS

Go for different rotors as a first starting point. I switched to galfer (2mm thickness) on my code RS and i feel the difference already. I can’t believe how incredibly crappy sram rotors are. Only issue is that pads are wearing like butter on hot bread. I have to admit that after a few months...

Levo Gen 3 New to E bikes. Trying to understand this pedal resistance with the Brose motor.

I tried Shimano and Bosch motors and as far as I can say the Brose motor has close to no drag/resistance compared to the others. Levo SL (first gen, I guess same is with the new one) is well known to have a 3 watt resistance... basically none. But I don't think the Brose is much different. I...

Levo Gen 3 Best coil shock - Poll

Is the RS now officially compatible? I recently checked the market for coil shocks and there was an official statement from Rockshox recommending against installing on a TL... There was a discusison in this forum too.

Kmc quick link. And quick link in general

Hello, I also did some research and from what I understand you can (more or less) use any quick link. However, it should be better to match your drivetrain. For example if you have a Sram chainring you don't want to use a Shimano quick link, because is too narrow.

Levo SL Gen 1 2022 Specialized Turbo Levo SL comp carbon w/Shimano XT

Thanks for sharing your experience. I am going to build soon a levo sl using a frameset and I am planning to use a shimano drivetrain I already own from another bike (6 bolt brake though). From what I read on other forums the sram chainring is absolutely fine. But the Shimano chain may be...

Other Specialized store delivery - how does it work?

Hello guys, I am planning to order a frameset on Specialized website and getting it delivered to a different country to where I live (going there soon for a trip). How does it work when it comes to delivery? Are you notified about frameset being ready from the LBS or directly from the...
