I don't really think is unrealistic. Internet is plenty of builds with Levo SL Frameset at around 16.5Kg. And BTW I am looking for a trail bike, so no need for big tyres and huge suspension travel ;)

I second that. Fidlock is the way to go. On the s3 I use a 450ml bottle. Not sure if a bigger one fits to he honest.

I have this setup and I have no issues of rotors rubbing the pads. However I had to align the brake pistons because one side was coming out much more than the other.

Hello, I also did some research and from what I understand you can (more or less) use any quick link. However, it should be better to match your drivetrain. For example if you have a Sram chainring you don't want to use a Shimano quick link, because is too narrow.
