It’s funny for now as a newer member, but I’m sure this will quickly be replaced with boredom. No need for this waste of screen space. I think there’s been more posts in this thread arguing than there has been genuine contribution. Thanks to those that have been civil and constructive ?
Another vote for stretching as far as you can on the first purchase to avoid the expensive upgrade/replacement cycle that often follows an early compromise on price.
I did this 6 months go (first eMTB) and am releived to say I've got not burning desire for anything better at the moment. Very...
As a first time dropper user I love what came on the Levo as the basic functionality is simply a riding game changer. Do people rate the supplied dropper? I’m more than happy with it, but I wouldn’t know any better!
Original tyres weren’t great so swapped those early on. Contact points is a repeated good call. I’m good with the saddle, I am looking for grips as the supplied ones aren’t great. Cheers
I’d second that! Our UK lockdown has given me time to play in the garden. It’s amazing how everything is so different due to the weight and power of the ebike, so re-learning handling and moves/tricks has been challenging but fun!
Hmmmm but one who asked the question as a noob to eMTB. Feel free to keep missing the point though!
Can I get a link the those anodised crank bolts, they sound awesome!
I’m trim and fit and the point of the question is getting to know if there’s something I’ve not discovered only having had the bike a few months and having spent 10 years away from MTB. Is the fat & middle-age a given assumption then for eMTB riders?
Yeah assuming I’m already optimised in the weight fitness department!!
I’m happy that the answer is no there isn’t a no-brainer upgrade. I have an open mind..... and wallet ?
Brake upgrades were definitely worthwhile many years ago. Now, again, so long as what you’ve got is above basic and specced to the bike should be fine. Keeping the pads clean is far more important than Hope/Magura bling. Unless certain brakes offer better pad wear. That’s another thread I’m sure!
