You have a habit, of curt, very condescending responses, which is a pretty neat trait that leads to me not desiring being involved in threads you post in. No skin off either of our butts... and neither of us are going to lose sleep over it... but certainly, it detracts from the whole...
I don't quite get it. Here in Laguna, our rides have climbs with grades in excess of 20% and many of them have 2.5KM long climbs with average grades that are 17%. From my experience, there is no way that you would ever want/need a 28/51 or 30/51 to accomplish these climbs. The motor puts out...
why would you want less teeth to the chainring? I already have a hard time using the 32t with a 51t rear cog as it is. I have a much faster cadence then most, and the 32/51 combo would need a cadence that can exceed 110-115 in order to maximize it.
Ah, I see your point. They would be able to install the dropper post and the housing, but would have to remove the remote from the handlebar, and as a result, the customer would have to re-install the junction box wiring onto the housing. Not a huge deal overall, and you are right that it does...
Yes, they ship with the battery installed.
As far as I understand, just about any Orbea dealer in the states can. There may be some dealers with less power that either haven't asked this question yet, or have enough local volume they don't want to deal with it.
Read my post in this thread...
On my wife's m20 rise, I am running a 29x2.6 DHRII in front and a 29x2.6 Rekon in back. The fit on the rekon in back is very tight and anything bigger then that tire would absolutely not fit.
the wheelset that came off my m20 seemed to have straight gauge spokes to me, at least, I couldn't find the butting transitions. The non-series shimano hubs are boat anchor heavy. IIRC, the rear shimano deore 12x148 hub is 480g and the front is just shy of 200g. You may have lucked out and...
The below photo is how the bikes show up to teh dealers. Technically, Orbea requires that the bikes be assembled by the dealers before being delivered to the customers. They are very specific in their dealer agreement language that the end users cannot assemble their own bikes, and have...
I have a RS zeb on my enduro bike at 170mm that I tried on my rise for one ride. To me, the orbea frame is too flexy to warrant a fork that stiff and the resulting axle to crown of that fork at 170mm wasn't what I was looking for on the rise. I think if I had the zeb at 160 it would have been...
Below is the only photo I have of it handy on the XL. I'll take a better one when I get home from work tonight. Regarding the fit, it's very tight and ends up resting against the shock a tiny bit, but I may be able to adjust that out. It doesn't quite wedge into the triangle between the...
I have a pair of M series rises which doesn't have the charger issue... but I still use a timer for both of the chargers when charging the bikes. The chargers for the m series are 2amp, and they seem to generally charge at a rate of 20% per hour.
That being said, I agree with you guys that I...
The fox float X ctd is a terrible shock... not trying to be a jerk here, but that shock is absolute trash and honestly wouldn't even be as good as a current day dps. I definitely appreciate the feedback on the total travel, but in terms of suspension performance, the stock bike with 140mm...
that would be my bike. The frame bag is made by evoc. I've confirmed that the small size bag fits perfectly in Large and XL sized frames. It fits in the medium too but it's a bit tight. I'm running the medium size evoc bag on my xl frame and it's a tight fit, but wedges in there alright...
That info does help, although it doesn't make the choice significantly easier haha.
I would say that the jump in feel from your Large spectral to the XL rise will be pretty massive. Really, your Large spectral, is going to feel like a medium rise going downhill (reach/stack) and a large rise...
Definitely between sizes... I'd say pay attention to the seat tube length and make your choice based on that. The rise has a pretty long seat tube in all sizes, but the XL in particular has a seat tube length that nearly belongs on an XXL frame. Have you ever ridden a bike with reach...
I think an alloy pre-load cap creates more problems then it solves. The allow is malleable and is going to fare better not backing out then an allow cap would. In addition, as you torque it, it will deform, and thus deform the threads and again, stop it from coming out. Don't assume alloy is...
I realize this isn't your responsibility, nor is there anything in it for you to suggest a solution for me... but I figure you may have more answers then most. Is there a way for me to check the battery health given that I do not have an oem shimano battery? I assume the esteps windows app...
I downloaded STunlocker from the play store last night. I wanted to check the health of my battery as it seems to be losing some of it's capacity already. For me, it's showing that I've only had 1 charge cycle, and that the battery health is 99%. Another strange thing, is that on the...
I am also 6'3" - 81kg and ride an XL m20. My m20 has since been upgraded in every way possible, and I am running a 160mm fox 36 on the front. If you are a hard charger, I would say that the 150-160mm fox 36 is the way forward. I bought my m20 because of the availability of it, and knew I'd be...
